last night i woke up at 2 in the morning went back to bed all to try to wild i layed still and waited for sleep paralysis this wold be my first time so i didn't know what to expect but after a while my legs became paralyzed i felt the urge to move on the left side of my body before my legs became paralyzed but that's all only the lower half of my body was paralyzed i waited for the rest of my body to become paralyzed i waited 15 more minutes but it never happened and during half paralysis i kept hearing a faint beeping/buzzing noise can someone tell me what this means and how i can enter full paralysis and not just half paralysis i would really like to experience full paralysis to know what to expect in the future thank you/ surrealdreams.

yeah dude i can tell you exactly what you experienced or at least i think i can well see okay here goes maybe you had SP or something and were starting to get hypnagogic hallucinations and the fact that you got paralyzed is a very good sign so you should be happy that that happened cause because it happened that means that you were really close to a full wild and that you just needed to relax more and focus on the hallucinations and let yourself drift into the dream and then maybe after that what youll encounter is something like a fall through your bed into your dream or maybe something else i dunno it works differently for different people but after that you just gotta do a reality check and then youll know fore sure that your in a wild now

Hey! My top tip is dont think about the fact you are going to WILD, dont think "cool I will be lucid soon!" Just focus on the images and clear your mind! The sounds and half paralysis are good signs that you are getting there so good job!

      Do not think!

Just wait there. Perhaps it might be to do with your mental state. If your mind is too overactive, it's harder to get into SP.

Well when you say partial sleep paralysis, i assume you mean your body's numbing (relaxing) to the point where half of your body is numb and half is not. But yes, they would be correct that you can't be 'partial' paralyzed.

      Just let go.

Let your mind wander, don't think about the paralysis that much, just let it happen.

Don't quote me on this as I can't remember where I heard it, but I believe that during SP, the block on outgoing neurological messages (which is what causes you to become paralyzed) occurs at your neck, so it would not technically be possible for you to be paralyzed from only the waist down.

However, nitpicking about that sort of technicality isn't really all that helpful, and I don't doubt that it felt like you were half paralyzed. Perhaps you were just experiencing what forceez described.
