      I miss this place :(

I've just grown tired of trying, to be rewarded by like one dream per month D:
I want to say I miss you guys, though!

Never give up boy! One dream per month isn't that bad really, so long as you don't give up you will get there eventually.
Look at me, I went 8 years trying and failing to induce even one LD, but the reward is pretty damn good!
And I know someone else who didn't give up for a long time and is now getting them at least weekly, so yeah.

Don't leave us, See my sig down there!
You don't have to quit, you could take a break on LD'ing, or not pay so much attention to it.
      But don't leave it completely.

You've had fourteen dreams so far. Trust me, they'll become far more frequent.

Also - what techniques are you using? If you've had multiple successes with DILDs, it might be time to try WILDing. Admittedly, it is a bit more difficult to master than DILDing, but, once you do so, your dreams will be far more vivid and frequent.

If you do want to give up, we can't and won't stop you, but if you don't, I can guarantee you will have a greater ratio of successes, and they will grow to be progressively more vivid.

Put it this way, you go to sleep every night, that's 365 chances of getting a LD. But, most people get about 2-3 dreams a night, each of which has the potential to become lucid if you do the techniques. So that's -Get's calculator- 730 to 1095 chances to have a lucid dream! Inducing lucid dreams is the same concept for every skill you do in every day life: practice, practice, practice, and finally, you get good at it!

I've had 3 in almost 2 years and I'm still trying. Dude don't give up on LDing, being able to create YOUR OWN WORLD while you dream is an experience of a LIFETIME. If your really down in the dumps you should take a break. But never give it up you'll get it eventually, you just have to KEEP ON TRYING.

Agreed! You guys are so encouraging and helpful! <3
Funilly enough, since I've quit I've had a lucid pretty much every night.
Except my control is shit, and my memory is shady.
Maybe the aproach I need to take is just dj'ing so my memory is better, and more chill, not forcing them.
Like once a night is awesome!
      I will become semi-active again!
      Thanks guys

When I had quit I had about 3 lucid dreams every night. I just recently got back on that track. Remember yuppie, if you keep a can-do attitude then you'll surely reach success. Doubting that you can't do it will ruin your state of mind and only lead to failure. Anyways, I'd like to welcome you back to Dreamviews.
