      If it is really going that bad, stop trying alltogether for a week or 2. The chance of you getting lucids in that period of rest is actually quite big. Working too hard (wanting it too much, thinking about it too much, too much research, etc.) actually makes it a LOT harder to LD. Take a break and then focus on finding a balance between effort (which is ofcourse required) and rest. I've heard many stories of people trying to LD, failing for a long time, who then stopped trying because they got too frustrated, and had an LD the very same night.

      thanks for the response... I definitely will do that.. I stopped last time and nothing happened for a while.. I'm nervous to stop again is all..
