WTF, why do I suck in all my dreams?

So I finally decided to look through my DJs for dream signs.

I noticed something, in all my dreams my characters are usually cool, my surroundings are sick, plots are intense-funny-random, but I suck like as a person in my dreams.

What I mean is in my dreams I am a loser, inconfident, rather stupid, nervous, and physically weak. Also, if everyone has magic I don't, and if I have a weapon or cool robotic suit it doesn't work. And girls usually reject me big time, or they flirt with me and I do nothing. Overall as DC I suck. I'll have a rare dream where I am awesome.

In real life I actually did sort of suck until a few months ago. Its a long story but basically I changed myself. I went from suckish overall to semi-loaded, ballin, jacked, and overall awesomeness.

Also, one thing I noticed is that I 'changed' myself in real life through raw will power+persistence; and I completly disregarded/dragged my subconcious+normal routines.

Do these dreams reflect myself in real life anyway, b/c I don't want a permanently crappy subconcious? Is there a way I can reprogram my subconcious through LDs (it would be nice to be awesome conciously and subconciously, lol)?

What Objective said as well. I still find myself not being able to act out certain things like shooting a gun at a person, it just doesn't work for me.

If you find things are not working, try focusing on the sensation on what it would be like to see something follow through in its function.

If you wanted to shoot a laser gun or whatever, try to feel the simulation, the vibrations, the intensive weight that slowly increases as it is charging up. Try to imagine the sounds of it being released through the gun, and imagining the sound of impact.

It's pretty normal to feel incompetent to some extent in your dreams, because you're usually accustomed to the limits of waking life. But if you just practice things one step at a time in small quantities, you will find that your confidence and creativity will increase as well.

      Hope this helps.

And trust me, wanting to do epic and amazing things is the first thing we would like to do in our dreams, but it's important to work on the fundamentals such as stabilizing, and gradually growing accustomed to certain sensations and experiences until they become second nature to us.

      EDIT:

Don't worry about your subconscious conforming to certain things permanently. Whatever schemata you were comfortable with, you can always find ways to change it to positive outcomes that you want.

I do find myself caring less about people in waking life, I sort of think of them as dream characters time to time, and hopefully carry on that mentality that I could be dreaming within my dreams.

It's normal (at least for me) to kind of forget about typical things you want to do in waking life, because you're so focused on being epic and awesome in your dreams.

But you will get better at it with more experience of these dreams, don't assume that if something bad is going to happen, that it is always going to happen. It's only because you believe something bad will happen, it's all up to your intention to make something positive, and create a more confident person within you, you have the potential, and you WILL find who you want to be in your dreams.

That's the beauty of dreams, to see other sides of yourself that you thought you never knew. Deep down, there's some trait of you that you know you have, it's just that you can't find the catalyst to initiate it. Everyone has a part of their whole personality that already knows how to survive, etc. (sorry if I'm sounding a bit of an idealist here).

It just takes time and devotion to find it, just commit to finding the person you want to be, and when you do, you'll find a transcendence of it towards waking life, and you will more aware of your capabilities and limitations, which overall, will make you a content and tactful person.

(There's always the ideal image of who you want to be, and it is there, and when you find it, you'll find that it too has its limitations as well. And that's when you'll find that it's you all along, it's just the confidence, the strength of mind, the will, etc. wasn't there).

      That was deep.

I will definately aim to reach that level of understanding of myself and the world.

And I guess it will take time to build myself up.
Everything is just sort of mixed up right now, it's like I'm really seeing the clash between my concious vs. subconsious (in reality and my dreams). Hopefully I can unite the efforts of both of them with the concious controlling, but that is really what LDing is all about, increasing your ability to be concious in the dream world and reality.

I think it would be best if I put my focuses to getting more lucid dreams, that way I can work towards these goals better.

      Thanks Linkzelda and Objective.
