Talking About Lucid Dreaming. . .

-in your dreams. Do you guys do this often? This morning I had a dream that I was explaining the difference between external lucid dreaming and internal lucid dreaming, where one was brought upon you by, say, lights from the real world, and the other was brought upon you by something strange in the dream. I was explaining this to my Calculus teacher, who I was in a house with I've never seen, and so I looked around, and everything was so very realistic. It all seemed completely real... But still, I turned to her and, gambling, said, "In fact, I bet you I'm dreaming right now. I know I'm dreaming right now. I'm not even going to do a reality check." And she rolled her eyes and said, "Not so sure your little nose thing works, then." And I said, "And if I'm dreaming right now... watch this. PTERANODON!" and I jumped on the floor and covered my head with my hands and a giant pteranodon flew in the room, via a window that he destroyed completely, and started destroying everything. Then I woke up. (I've never called a pteranodon to my aid in a dream before. I think he should be my new pet. I might name him Scott. I suggest that you also try calling a pteranodon in your dreams. This is beside the point, however.) That was this morning! Do you guys ever talk about or explain lucid dreaming to people IN your dreams?

I did it twice afair. One time, I was hearing my sister and a old women arguing about lucid dreaming, and when I wanted to step into the conversation to tell them they had the concepts all wrong, they just wouldn't hear me! It was very frustating. In the second one, me and my best friend were in a psychology university and we sneaked into a lecture. Well the teacher was saying loads of crap about stephen LaBerge and I start arguing with her that he had been a pioneer of lucid dreaming and she was like "yeah, what about biology, philosophy?" etc etc. Ofc I got mad for not becoming lucid at that point. Oh and the conversation that gave me a lucid. I was at a building with Dr. House and he said "oh look I'm dreaming!" and I replied "have you ever wondered that you might be talking to me thinking I'm a dream character on your dream, but maybe it's the other way around?" as I said this I realized I was dreaming and became lucid

O yes, and it never got me lucid I have explained the difference between DILDs and WILDs to a friend of mine, told my other friend, that I have had an LD and asked her if she wants one too, I can teach her. I attended classes and summer camps on LDing.

I've told people more than once in a lucid dream, to go to sleep in the lucid dream and come back fully lucid... Dream logic at its best! I've also talked about lucid dreaming a few times. Mostly it's: "We're/I'm actually dreaming right now" and they get amazed and believe me.

I catch myself telling other people I am dreaming, without fully understanding what that means. It is like I'm telling them about it while still trying to figure out if it is true or not. Almost lucid...

Yes, it's quita often that I dream of talking about lucid dreaming in my dreams. I often talk about it with my 2 best friends in waking life, so I sometimes dream of having a discussion with them about LD. I usually become aware that I'm dreaming then because somebody suddenly says "Hey, maybe we are dreaming, let's do a RC", so I like these dreams. But it's even more strange if I dream of talking about LD over a long time and always tell the dream characters how important it is to do RC's if you want to have LD's and then I don't even realize that I'm actually dreaming xP.

Occasionally, the other night I had a dream I was teaching my sister how to lucid dream xD
