So just a few minutes ago, i woke up from a lucid dream. Right after I had it, I wrote it down in a new journal app i've been writing in. So I wanted to copy and paste to hear everyone's opinions. By the way, I always sleep with my eyes open ever since I had surgery on them.
"Holy crap! I just had a lucid dream! It started out as a normal dream. I was playing a video game with my ex fiance across the internet when all of a sudden a fire alarm went off and I smelled a burning scent. I believe I didn't put out a cig all the way. After that I noticed that my old shitty bestfriend calvin was out on my porch with some guy. I tried to have them leave but they didn't. Next thing I know I was playing some kind of kick wrestling with the new guy. I remember swinging my leg for a kick when all of a sudden I seen my leg in reality swing like in the dream. After that, I realized I was talking in my dream as if I was thinking to myself in my mind. I come to realize that it was a dream and to test it I made myself sprout wings and knew I couldn't do that in reality. Soon after I realized I was able to switch to what my eyes were looking at while in my dream. The rest is foggy but I remember teleporting to places. It was all insane!!"
I didn't know how to control it and I think thats why the rest is so blurry and why I woke up. I think what helped me get even that far in knowing it was a dream was by listening to a Lucid Dreaming CD by Stephen LaBerge a couple weeks back and remember to try and see things that you can only do in a dream. What is a real mystery is that when I was a young teen, I was able to see while sleeping in the middle of class. I can't do it any more though. That brings me to the conclusion, is it possible that I used to lucid dream all the time when I was younger and never realized it?
