cool question
1. My first LD was when I was 8. My brother and I got swept up into a tornado that was about 5 feet tall lol. I told him "Don't worry, it's just a dream!" I think I woke up just after that, it wasn't very long. I remember the next day, none of my friends believed me when I said I knew that I was dreaming. After years of lucid dreams of varying length and control, I found DreamViews in 2004, after which I learned how to increase the duration, frequency, and clarity of my lucid dreams. They can last several minutes. Not epic lengths, but I'm always learning!
2. Yes, I believe they grow as you have more, for one reason, you now know what it feels like. That gives you something tangible to aim for and try to stabilize. Good job on the "daylight" command by the way! The next step in stabilizing is locking in your form. Try rubbing your hands together and looking at them as you do it.
