      Problem every time I LD

This is something that has been happening pretty much every LD that I have and it's starting to bug me. I think like 5 of my 6 lucids have been like this.

Generally when I get lucid, it's always in my bedroom. For example, yesterday I had a dream where I had a Nova goggle thing on (you know, the thing LaBerge made? My psychology teacher was telling me about it last week) and it told me I was going to dream soon, and it'll flash a light when I do, so I should be ready for that. Well I "fall asleep" find myself sitting in a dark plane, get the signal, return back to my room, and THEN become lucid.

The problem? Despite what I do, it feels as if I've just awoken from like super deep sleep and it's a struggle just to keep my eyes open. I knew 100% that I was lucid in my dream yesterday but to no avail. Couldn't even get out of my bed, let alone keep my eyes open.

      Please. Help.

      I have a few ideas:

Instead of struggling to keep your eyes open, just relax and close them, allowing a new dream scene to form. All of a sudden, you are in a bright vivid dream scene with your eyes open and no problems at all.

Another possibility might be to imagine someone is in the room about to give you an injection that will make you instantly alert.

Maybe you could take that pill that you have in your pocket to wake yourself up?

Hopefully one of these ideas will work for you.

Finally, a reply! I thank you my good sir!

To your first point, I feel like if I close my eyes for longer than a standard blink, I'm going to just wake up. Though, I've never tried it so I don't know.
The pill thing sounds fantastic though. I'll have to try that, thanks a lot. ^_^

I hear from a lot of people that they fear waking up if they close their eyes, but according to the great BillyBob in his Mastering Your Dreams guide, this is just a common misconception.
