I rub my hands together. Pay attention to the feeling of your hands rubbing together and as you focus on it your dream should become stronger

try not to get overly excited and overwhelmed while lucid. That can literally destroy the clarity and control you have, and ultimately make you wake up.

Everyone has already given you some good stabilization tutorials to read The trick to stabilizing a dream is using all your senses. Just stop for a moment and take in the details around you. Feel things around you, smell them, hear them, taste them, etc. You want to give the dream more details. Spinning in a dream works because you are making your mind generate new scenery which keeps you in the dream longer!

Lately I have been thinking of a particular goal, and focusing on achieving it once I go lucid. Having some kind of goal and also constantly reminding myself I am lucid and aware are some ways that work. A little meticulous constantly reminding myself I am aware and lucid though... so I have been seeking out meditation as my goal in dreams lately. I've done the rubbing hands thing too, or looking at my hands every so often.

And as Mancon said, using all your senses is a great way to maintain lucidity!
