Angry Dreaming about the subject of lucidity without being lucid?

For two nights in a row I have had dreams in which I have discussed lucid dreaming with dream characters. And neither time have I taken this as a prompt or sign, unbelievably enough. The first one was me explaining to somebody what lucid dreaming was, and the second was me explaining to somebody that I was lucid once (without describing the dream itself). I am knew to this and have only been lucid once - by accident. That is when I started trying again, and I'm now a couple of weeks in with no results. Is this a sign I am getting closer? Or a sign that I am doing something very wrong. Thanks.

Its i sign that the idea is is your head now, which is now in your dreams. This is good. I think whats going on is that the lucid idea is popping up but not in the right format. When the timing is right, the idea of doing a reality check might pop up and you may or may not do it all depending on luck and practice. Just give it some time. Try using autosuggestion. Thats how i got my first good one.

Your getting closer, maybe you could try something like this. Each time ur thinking about lucid dreaming, just do a reality check. If everything goes right, and u dream about talking about lucid dreaming again, that reality check should pop into that dream. And there u go, u got a lucid dream! Just an idea, but what i notice is that habits start to appear into dreams pretty quickly. Worth a shot, don't u think?

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

I will agree with what people said above.

Thanks to my frequent posting on the forum I seem to dream about DreamViews every other night in at least some small way. When I was ill recently it became annoying but usually the dreams prove quite entertaining. Sadly, they do not always trigger lucidity.

Keep dreaming! You will get there soon!

two weeks is not all thaat long towait, and this does count as results. I think it took me about 8 weeks to have my first iintentional LD. Dreaming about it is a great sign.

Dont worry... I have had a few dreams just like that. Sometimes it happens. The good news is sometimes you will realize you are dreaming.

Yup, means you're close. The real trick after all is to get yourself to think about dreaming while you're in a dream. So just keep doing what you're doing and you aught to be Lucid soon. You will find that even after years of experience this kind of thing will still occasionally happen. Always take it as a good thing.
