I took a nap today, and I believe I attained lucidity (for the second time, the first beingh me running down a street and realising I was in a dream and waking up instantly)

I wont go into too much detail, but I noticed the dream was very cluttered, and the place I was, was very futuristic. Etc.

In the dream, I went to a movie, and accidentally went to an Imax 3D film, with these HUGE sea eels, that were the size of skyscrapers. Then the next thing I remember, is racing through town at 10x speed. And ending up in a public shower, and I saw this really gorgeous guy, and that's when I gained control of the dream, and I tried to kiss him, and did but everything went so blurry, and I couldn't see anything, (though I could feel it).

Until the dream transitioned, from there, to high in a building, I really concentrated hard so I could stay in the dream, and I did. But I wasn't in the same place, i was at an opening of a tall building, that led to a long red and caved race track. I ran down it, to another place, where the man in the shower stood again, but I was stopped from m oving any further by........... Roger from the show American Dad. Yes, the cartoon alien. He was apparently 'king' of the land. And arrested me, but then I woke up, but I wasn't ACTUALLY awake, I was convinced that I knew how to stop the end of the world using info from my dream, (I can literally REMEMBER thinking that in my head) but I couldn't find my dream journal, and I kept getting interrupted by something. (not sure what).

And then, I woke another woman, (who looked like a young madonna) and told her about it, before I woke up AGAIN. This time realizing everything was just a dream and I should just write it down. And a few times, i literally THOUGHT I had awoken, and wrote it down, but it was actually just a dream. (I was finally woken by my mom calling for me).

I have two questions, is it normal for lucid dreams to be this 'cluttered' and random, as mine was? Or could I possibly have had a dream where I THOUGHT I was lucid, but actually wasn't. And finally, has anyone else had the same problem, with thinking you've woken up, and are writing down your dream? (I actually remember having similar things like this happen, where I thought I was downstairs eating breakfast, only to wake up and realize it was all a dream)

Thanks!
