My subconscious tells me or shows me things that isn't possible in real, that's how i know i am in a dream. Read my deep freeze journal, that's how the dreams gives signs it's a dream. |

So sometimes Ill be in the middle of a deep dream and my subconsciousness will tell me im dreaming or this world isn't real.(Normally its a guy around my age who tells me a sort of simple riddle that makes me realize its a dream.(I think its kind of neat that my subconscious chooses to incarnate itself in that form.) I guess I've been obsessed with dreams for so long my subconscious has caught on or something. |

I'm glad im not the only one |

Dreams have a strange nature, there is nothing surprising about this. Most DILD techniques are built upon realizing these weird things in the dream. |
|
I realize that i'm dreaming.
I realize that i'm dreaming.
I realize that i'm dreaming.
<--- My Dream Journal Contains ONLY Lucid Dreams
I find it strange because the person telling me its a Dream ignores the ongoing events or story of the dream. Almost like its a separate entity from the rest of the dream. It seems out of place. Where as normally the out of place seems normal in a dream. For example talking to dead relative is obviously impossible in real life but in a dream its not. So my point is: it seems strange not by real world standards but by dream standards. Not to say it is abnormal but it defiantly gives me the impression that it is abnormal. |

It could have been a shared dream, dream characters don't tell you are in a dream, usually you have to figure it out yourself. |
|
That's not necessarily true for this person as it may be for you. |

In all my dild or milds I have never once seen something that has caused me to realise I was dreaming. Each time it just pops up in my mind, as if my mind is letting me know. |

Yes I experience this often. As someone noted earlier, dream characters do not tell you that you're in a dream (hence you should test your own reality). The more likely reason for you becoming lucid is that you realize something in that world (even the character you spoke of) is a bit odd and begin to question it. |

Whats a dream-guide? |
|
A dream guide is any dream character who helps the dreamer with exploring the dream world and with controlling his/her dream, simple as that. |

Very interesting. I am not yet that far along, I am guessing. I have however noticed that when I am intent on lucid dreaming I experience an increase in dream signs that have the potential to make me lucid. Now I need to increase my awareness a bit more to more frequently trigger lucidity. |
