      Randomly waking up at night.

I noticed I have been waking up randomly sometimes around 3-8 AM. How to make those random waking ups useful? (if possible)

You can try DEILD if you're only waking (briefly) and not needing to get up. If you are awake for a while you might try MILD or WBTB + WILD

We have tutorials on al of these in our WIKI.

It's really hard to stay where I am when I wake up.

Why is that? Noise? Restless legs? Family?

Hmm when I DEILD, I don't even stay still. I roll over everytime. Luckily, I am used to this and it seems to be the only way DEILD will work for me. The roll over kinda gives me enough awareness of the physical world without waking me up too much, that when I slip into the dream, I still have the 'essence' of reality and I easily get lucid because of the different feeling of the dream. You can try it out, maybe it will work for you? Remember that the tutorials are not set in stone, they are merely there to guide you so you can find your own method which works for you. If one aspect of a technique doesn't work for you, experiment. Sooner or later you will find the perfect way! 8D

      Good luck and happy dreaming

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
