      Funny sleep paralysis

I just wanted to share this experience with you guys!
So, about two nights ago I had around my fifth sleep paralysis event, it happened at about 5:30.AM I think. I woke up from some dream about dragons, and I instantly knew I was in sleep paralysis because I was going to change my position into a more comfortable one, but, of course, I couldn’t. Now something was strange about how I woke up, because usually I sleep on my stomach, or occasionally on my sides, but when I woke up I was on my back (which doesn’t usually happen). So since all my other sleep paralysis experiences occurred on my stomach, and was not scary, I thought that this time it actually would be scary because I was lying on my back. I opened my eyes slightly and saw nothing creepy, though my white-board was all crooked. I closed my eyes again and wiggled my toes and fingers, but nothing happened. I heard a raspy whisper say something like “hello, how are you?”
I couldn’t talk but I thought inside my head “I’m paralyzed” as my reply. I then heard the same raspy whisper mimic my words, except it added some high pitch and low to its voice, as if making fun of me. I decided to see if this voice would continue to mimic me, so I thought something along the lines of “I am so smart.”
I waited for a while and heard a reply from the raspy whisper voice. It said “no, you’re not, but I am.”
I then broke free from the sleep paralysis while laughing out loud because of this experience. It may not seem so funny to you guys but it was for me… Anyway, sorry for all the text. Oh, and one more thing, if you had a funny sleep paralysis experience please tell!

      Hahaha, that must've been hilarious!
I haven't really experienced such SP, so I have no story to tell..

I have only had one SP happen. It was after 2 false awakenings. When I woke up I heard "THIS IS A DREAM! I'M GONNA RAPE YOU!" in a really deep voice and I felt pressure on top of me like something holding me down. I wasn't really startled since I thought it was a dream and I was pretty confident in my dreaming abilities (I don't fear anything) So I tried to wake up, I thought of home and my bed, and then I tried to say my name. I barely got the words out and sat up, realizing that I was in SP. Some people think that it sounds creepy, but I thought it was pretty funny.

That would be really scary for a lot of other people I bet!
But otherwise that is kind of funny... Just weird. Lol. I wonder what you were thinking right after you found out that it was sleep paralysis.

Well, it was especially weird since I had 5 dreams that night that were all very vivid and one lucid. So when it told me it was a dream I was very inclined to believe it.

I was thinking that I should have been more scared!

I usually keep my eyes closed during SP because I dont wanna see anything scary :p The first time it happened I saw a dark shadowy figure standing on my bed beside me looking at me haha. Once in a while I'll experience sounds or feelings. I once felt my dog jump up on my bed and lie down in between my legs like she usually does in real life :p

People always talk about how you see scary things in SP. I always wondered why people don't just keep their eyes closed.

Yeah, me too, this was the only time I opened my eyes. I'm glad I didn't see anything scary though... I think I may have also hallucinated seeing my dog once before, but I'm not totally sure.
