This is my plan for tonight.

Tonight I will Lucid Dream. I hope.

      1. It's now 11pm. I'm going to set my alarm clock to 5am.
      2. I will try the WILD technique the first time when I'm trying to sleep.
      • I will keep my mind awake with mathematical questions

      3. Then I will try the DILD.
      • Clocks, Watches
      • Signs

      4. Then I'll wake up and stay awake for 15-20 minutes.
      5. Go to sleep again, try WILD and DILD.

      Sound good? Any recommendations?

Don't WILD when you first go to sleep. It will just distract yourself. Instead, spend those last few moments reminding yourself to remember your dreams, and perform a reality check.

Do more RCs for your DILD in case those fail. Like the nose check or finger check
      Spoiler for Secret to LDing:

I agree with Robot_Butler. DO NOT WILD right before bed. You should WILD after 4-7 hours of sleep. Otherwise, it sounds good. Remember it can take multiple tries and some time to get lucid so do not give up if it doesn't work tonight. Just take your time and make sure you are doing everything correctly. Good luck! If you have questions just ask

I've WILDed two times before sleeping. It worked both times.

Trying to WILD before sleep for me causes insomnia.. which funnily enough is how I nearly had my first out of body experience.. But SP is scary sh*t though. :[

Actually never causes me insomnia when I'm tired enough. But also I never succeed entering LD with this technique.

The only reason why I nearly WILD'd because I tried to WILD (before I had a nap), once the WILD failed, I tried to nap and had a fail nap. So then I tried to go to bed and I couldn't sleep.. I remember bending my knee so i had my leg closer to me, as I fell asleep, my leg fell and that caused me to "wake up" as I fell asleep
