Thread: How much time a Lucid dream takes without interruption

Lucid dreams can flash by in a second of lucidity or can seem to last a very long time.

It will vary from person to person and each experience is different.

I've seen some people say it felt like as long as 20 minutes, an eternity to spend in a dream lucid.

Some people claim they've been in a lucid dream for hours or even days. I'm not sure I believe it is possible, even though they might have felt like they were in the dream for that long, their perception of time might have been distorted.

They've done an experiment where a person would count seconds and move his/her eyes for each second and compared it to a real life clock. They found out that the dream seconds are almost identical in length to real ones.

Also, most of my LD's last between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I've had a couple of dreams that have lasted more than 5 and up to 10 minutes though, and like melanieb said, that's a lifetime's worth of time to do what you want
