Is it possible to have a lucid dream with the same awareness you have now?

      Hey everyone,
I have no idea why I didn't ask this earlier when first joining this forum. Look around you, amazing isn't it? Everything has its own texture, feel, look everything is so unique and you experience it with such vividness. Right now you are experiencing what I will label as X for this question. In a lucid dream is it possible for it to be like X? I've always wondered about this because it would be so hard to achieve. Can you imagine if right now you teleported to your school or place of work... And everybody is a zombie! My question basically is it possible to experience a dream as realistic as you are experiencing reality right now? That goes for all senses and awareness.
      Thanks,

Yes, it's so hard to comprehend how our brain can recreate this but it is definitely possible and even better it can be topped. I used to wonder this too but once I had enough lucid with super realism I'm fully convinced. It's really incredible that our mind can create a world so detailed. Try focus on something in your net lucid and try to see all the detail, it's really cool.

My second lucid experience was in fact as realistic as real life. The location was our small restroom which I think is the reason why it was so detailed, because it was such a small room. It literally took me a moment to check if it was all real.
It was all there the smell the cold touch of the bathroom tiles wind blowing through the cracks of the old house it was all there in HD! haha.

It's definitely possible indeed, false awakenings in my WILDs sometimes recreate my room very similar to one IWL, in fact i remember seeing an exact replica once.

Yes... very much so. That is why my second LD gripped me so much. It was more vivid than real life, and it wasn't like I was walking in a dream. I had been in the dream for what seemed like 2 weeks and just realized... it had all been a dream. It blew my mind.
