i dreamed a guy friend was pregnant

i had a really weird dream last night that one of the teens i work with came to me crying telling me He was pregnant. i am concerned about all the teens that they are careful, and i've had dreams that have come true. Just looking for some clarity.

Lucid dreams can also be random. The other day in a lucid I walked into a building looking for a book and there was a*little person in there telling me to put pants on. I didn't want him to be there, he just was. You can control all aspects of a lucid if you wish, but most of the time LDs can be just as random as normal dreams, especially if it is one of your first LDs.

You knew that you were dreaming in the dream? I know you said that you were lucid, but lots of people have an eskewed idea of what lucid means.

It sounds like just the randomness of a dream. Lucid dreams can be just as random as normal dreams, in fact they seem more random because you are actually thinking during them how weird it is. OR, your friend needs to come out of the closet.

I have had some lucid dreams where I am fully missing body parts or have some added. Not the most control in those, but they happen. It doesn't have to "mean" anything.

If you don't choose where you start at in a WILD or if you start from the previous dream they can be just as crazy as DILDs. Just a little hint if you like random dreams better than set up. I like going from a random place to a set up place.

Well that depends - was it a WILD or a DILD? My DILDs can be pretty random and strange, aside from my own reactions to things. And of course, pregnancy dreams aren't actually about pregnancy - it's a symbol. That guy, or whatever part of you he represents, has something new and growing to look forward to that he (or you) needs to support and nurture.

I apologize if my suspicion is incorrect, but whenever I hear someone answer the question "Was it lucid?" With "yes very clear and vivid" I need to verify whether the person knows what we mean by "lucid" since a lot of people confuse lucid with vivid. What we mean by "Was it lucid?" Is "Were you aware during this dream that this is a dream?"

YOu know even in lucid dreams dream characters do say the darnedest things at times. We've got a thread on that somewhere here on dreamviews btw, which includes some very funny examples of what DCs said in both lucid and non-lucid dreams.
