A tip for beginers worth reading. CoiILD

hi. im back after seeing l4all's forum system is bad. so heres how Ive been becoming lucid. at the back of my 3rd DJ Iwrote "Contracts" altho the person needs to find contracts that FIT to him heres a few ex. of my own. drink water before bed, remember to wake up after each dream even non LD,wbtb quickly turn off my alarm an do FILD. the contracts work once at a time an can only be done for ONE night only. this method could be called the Contract initiated LD becase its not what you will achieve, its the mindset.this is how the mind works you discoveer LD try but..nothing happens you put all your hope and Still nothing happens. the way contracts work,is you choose one of your contracts you only have ONE try to achieve your goal in sight and your mentality torwads it must be "theres Nothing stoping me I will do it!!!!!!"
This Method I made by myself but I seek no recntion it was about 7 months before I had my first L and I know one gets sad and considers givin up. I
      know that feel
a contact expires after each use and if you have many like I do there is a limit to one contract per nigh becase this make the mind think I must do instead of theres always tomorrow and the next day the systematic cicle repeats.

Humans long for happiness but they seek it in wrong ways; like money or control.

This was told to me by a DG while meditating.

Making a contract is a valid way. But it's not a new method, nor does it need a name. Intent is one of the things we mention here constantly as important item in setting your goal of having a lucid dream. And contract is just that - you stating your intent and reinforcing it by writing it down and reinforcing it again by making it a contract.

And this was mentioned here on DV before. This, of course, doesn't make your personal discovery any less important.

Make a contract! It even includes a template for the contract.

gab was merely trying to point out that intent is a method for assisting with LDs. You need not get offended or nasty with your words (disrespect is against forum rules).

Often we encounter new acronyms on the forum and we try to investigate each one to see if it fits in with established methods. More often than not it does, like in this case.

As she said, this "doesn't make your personal discovery any less important. "

My reply was positive. I did say it is valid. And I said that it has been mentioned here before, but that doesn' make your personal disovery any less important.

Writing your goal into your DJ, even drawing what you want to do in your lucid, or taping a picture printed out to DJ is something we mention here very often. It is a form of setting your intent. It's stronger than just saying it, when you actually work on creating it by drawing, looking for a pic on the internet, so you can see it too.

I did link you that thread in my reply above, here it is again, and some more.

I must have a lucid dream...

      Workbook post #17

Now is your turn to back up what you saing about me always posting negative comments to your posts.

I looked at all your posts and only thing I found is where I question you recommending 6mgs of melatonin for lucid dreaming. And in next sentence you say, that it will make it hard to lucid dream. 0.3mgs is recommended to counteract effects of galantamine, as it is sufficient to help you fall asleep. So yes, I did question your advise.
