      A Lucid Dream ready bedroom

Hey guys I need your input and advice on what I want to do.

I want to turn my bedroom into a dreaming station in a way. Just wondering what I should have in there for pictures, lighting, blah blah blah. Just stuff that would make my room have a lucid dreamers feel to it

      any suggestions andor ideas?

Generally, lighting should be dark/dim to help falling to sleep, there should not be any sudden noises(White noise or similar is fine if you want it, and it actually helps some people to fall asleep) and bed(Or some other place you fall asleep at, if WILD) should be comfortable enough.
As for pictures/decorations, it really depends on what you like and your general taste, as well as your dream goals, just be sure not to use anything that would scare you if you don't like that.

It would be nice to stick a list of your goals somewhere on your wall or something. That way you get reminded everytime you head to bed, and it helps motivate you (even on a subconscious level). Also I agree with dim lighting. I mean you can have normal bright lights but it's also good to have some dim ones which you can use when you get up in the night or attempt a WBTB (wake back to bed), as bright lights can diminish the effect. Overall, try to put up your inspiration all over the room to really help get you into that mindset. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

also seen as its a dream ready bedroom if you plan on using WBTB technique frequently it would be good to maybe buy some dream related books and/or articles ect and stick them next to your bed, they are great to keep the mind conscious while drilling lucid thoughts in there aswell before you go back to sleep or attempt a WILD

There is no one perfect lucid dreaming room. Everyone is different. I need music and a little light, some people need complete silence and darkness. I know it's not what you want to hear, but you'll just have to find what works for you.

Don't forget that in order for quality sleep, you also need air circulating the room, which makes the temperature cool enough for you to regulate yours.

Maybe some surreal posters like some of Salvador Dali's works.

I find surreal paintings and scenery really motivate me.

Get some posters that remind you of dreaming! Having all sorts LDing books (like ETWOLD and AYD). That should help you keep up motivation and catch FAs.

My number one suggestion is turn your phone completely off. A notepad and pen/pencil beside your bed is also a must. I very much agree with what others have said about cool posters, maybe try a landscape or scene you'd like to visit. If possible, try to position the poster where you can see it from bed. I realise this is purely anecdotal, but I have lots more dreams involving my visible posters than I do of the posters on the wall above/behind me. (out of my line of sight).
