Scared to attempt a WILD

Hello! So I've had a few MILD's, but I had no dream control and they were very short. I plan on trying WILD tonight, but I'm a little scared of the "transitioning" part, mainly about voices. Advice?

Do not expect anything scary. Having anxiety about it may cause it to seem scary. If you get so far that you hear voices, shouldn't that be a cool experience? It will certainly be a new thing you can tell your friends about. It is not usually scary at all. You may hear a cat meowing just as likely as a person whispering. And so what if an imaginary person whispers at you? Just dive in and see what happens, none of it is real. Enjoy a new experience.

I like the HH's. If you expect scary things you are more likely to get them...expect positive ones or turn potential negative ones into positives. Of course focusing on the them is only for the advanced LDers if they choose to use them at all.

I've only been able to WILD once but it wasn't scary, just annoying at worst.. My HH involved my dog making noises and pawing at me, and my mother coming in the room to say things to me even though she didn't live there. I got angry that they were keeping me awake and got up to put the dog outside, and noticed something was out of place... I went to examine it and the house faded from around me and I was standing outside, completely lucid. Truly an amazing experience that I wish I could have again. I say go for it
