      Question Lucid Dreaming Questionaire

I'm a media student studying in Southampton, England and I am making a lucid dreaming documentary.
In order to get some research on the topic, I would like to put up a questionaire that anyone with experience in lucid dreaming can feel free to answer. The questions are as follows.

      1. When did you have your first lucid dream?
      2. How often do you experience lucid dreams?
      3. What do you most often dream about or do in your lucid dreams?
      4. What is your most effective method in inducing a lucid dream?

Thanks in advance for your responses,

      Kind Regards,
      Gavin Johnston-Smith

      1. My first lucid dream was when I was about 5 years old.
      2. I'm only just starting out, so not very often.
      3. On the rare occasions I have become lucid, I just continue going about the dream.
      4. DILD, but rarely happens.

      DILD - 42 | WILD - 14 | OBE - 0 | AP - 0

      1. When did you have your first lucid dream?
      A: About a year ago.

      2. How often do you experience lucid dreams?
A: On occasion, because i don't try as hard as i should usually.

      3. What do you most often dream about or do in your lucid dreams?
A:In lucid dreams, because i am not very skilled, i usually just end up walking/running around.
I actually have done the most in my first one. (I flew, and did Fus-Ro-Dah from skyrim)

      4. What is your most effective method in inducing a lucid dream?
A: I do different things. I'll do Self Hypnosis(Not often.), i'll try Binaural Beats sometimes. Like i said, i don't try as hard as i used to. Even back then, i didn't know as much as i do now, so if i started trying hard enough again, i'd probably be having alot of them. I usually do similar to lucid dreaming when i meditate, because i just vizualise lucid dreaming and it becomes more and more real to a point, and along with that, affirmations work alot better.

      Hey and welcome to dreamviews!

      1. About a year ago, i think, at least one that i remember
      2. Currently around 1 lucid per 2 days, but sometimes 1 or 2/day or 1 per 4 days, kinda all over the place like that, but hoping to get it to 1/day soon.
      3. Flying using my wings and trying to find an effective way to change into my dragon form and make it persistent.
      4. Combination of different methods and techniques. Often i DILD, sometimes WILD or DEILD, also alot of my lucid dreams are from WBTB and naps.

      1. When did you have your first lucid dream?

The first I can remember was when I was around 13.

      2. How often do you experience lucid dreams?

I rarely experienced them before I started learning about them and found out that it was possible to learn to have them more often. Recently I've been experiencing around 3-5 lucid dreams a week, but this varies a lot.

      3. What do you most often dream about or do in your lucid dreams?

I usually try to explore the situation I find myself in, or try to find a new place to carry on the lucid dream. I have goals and things I'd like to try out in lucid dreams but these change a lot. The one that generally stays consistent is wanting to find out more: so observing the things that happen in the dream, asking dream characters things, looking in different places and interacting with the dream in different ways to see what unexpected things happen.

      4. What is your most effective method in inducing a lucid dream?

Most of my lucid dreams have been DILDs following waking up naturally during the night and falling back to sleep, but I've tried both WILD and DEILD before and both work really well when I can get back to sleep. I don't usually get up and do WBTB, or if I do I only do it for a short while as I often end up finding it difficult to get back to sleep.

      1. When did you have your first lucid dream?
      Around 4 years old spontaneously.

      2. How often do you experience lucid dreams?
Several times a week (the majority of my dreams are at least semi-lucid; a smaller percentage are fully lucid).

      3. What do you most often dream about or do in your lucid dreams?
      Flying, or exploring the dreamworld.

      4. What is your most effective method in inducing a lucid dream?
DILD, although DEILD has proven to be effective for me lately.

My name is Max. I write ambient music and play video games.
      Currently inactive.

      65% DILDs, 30% DEILDs, 5% WILDs.

      1. When did you have your first lucid dream?
Almost exactly 2 years ago, in late October.
Then after that dream my LD frequency dramatically increased for a couple months, until I got at least 1 or 2 per week with ease.

      2. How often do you experience lucid dreams?
If I am very motivated I can get 2 or 3 per week, but I'm quite busy with university stuff right now so I don't feel I have the energy to invest much time in it, so I get about 1 spontaneous lucid dream a month right now.

      3. What do you most often dream about or do in your lucid dreams?
Extremely original stuff, you know, like flying and kissing hot girls.
I am still playing around and using lucid dreams for pure fun right now, "deep" things will be a later concern.

      4. What is your most effective method in inducing a lucid dream?
I seem to have a talent for DEILDs, where I wake up, write down a dream in bed and then instantly fall asleep again.
This usually results in False Awakenings which I recognize and then become lucid.
