well I live in Lebanon, and that's in Asia , and in Islam, praying is 5 times a day, where someone is supposed to be highly concentrated at it, and to reach a meditative state, and there is a very high interest in dream precognition, but no one even knows about LDing, or what it is. So I would definitely no, Asia(or at least Lebanon), doesn't have LDers more than any other place. But luckily, people in Lebanon have a more interest in normal dreams, so the idea of LDing isn't something impossible or crazy for most of them. So I don't get a lot of crazy faces when I talk about LDing, on the contrary, I get surprise and amazement.
So I would guess that LDing would "grow" more in the eastern world than the western, if it would be more informed of.
