      Sleep paralysis...?

ok so this morning i experienced something really weird.

at 6am my alarm went off and i woke up. i was really tired so i just mindlessly turned it off and went back to sleep.

i've had quite a lot of WILDs for the past few months but this time i wasnt intending to. i was too tired

anyway the next thing i knew i just suddenly opened my eyes in the middle of sleep and realized i couldnt move. i started to hear my inner thoughts out loud and it was getting louder and louder and the voice started changing to high pitched echoy voice and i felt like my body was twisting and my legs were on fire.

i couldnt see anything but i heard a girl say SLEEP~~~~ SLEEP~~~~ and she put a green blanket on me and i saw the green as it lay on my face

i thought to my self "so i guess this is sleep paralysis and it means its all created by my mind they cant hurt me dont be scared"

but it felt SO Incredibly real i got scared. i was almost convinced maybe it was real. i couldnt move so i was lying there just like that for what felt like 1-2mins and then i snapped out of it.

i also remember thinking "maybe this is what psychedelic trip is like?"

      probably not though.

i think this was sleep paralysis, and not hypnagogic hallucinations. i've had many hypnagogic hallucintaions before but this time it was just... different. (i could be wrong) and i kinda enjoyed it

anyways does anyone know how to enter a lucid dream from this? i know sleep paralysis rarely happens but i just want to know if its possible.

ive been also taking seroquel for sleep by the way. could it be that the med caused it?

That sounds like it. It has never happened to me. If I understand correctly you just calm yourself, ignore any thought of not being able to move, and preform basically the same thing as DEILD. So you try to fall more asleep with your eyes closed and repeat some thought or picture a dream you want. Something like that. I am sure not being scared is important, as is closing your eyes.
