Thread: Does DILD involve SP?

I'm always forgetting if DILD involves SP.. Or is it WILD?
I think DILD is sleeping regularly without your body falling asleep but your mind is still awake...
I'm not sure. If you can, can you tell me how to do the method where you go into lucid without SP.

None of them, actually! That is what we can call a myth in the lucid dream community!

DILD is when you get lucid while already in a dream, and WILD is when you fall asleep while staying conscious, so WILD is the one that is usually, but mistakenly connected to SP. I do recommend you check that thread, though, it's great!

A misconception is that WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) HAS to involve SP.

But, strictly speaking in terms of SP, WILD is the one you are thinking about.
