Dild. A great initial technique is utilizing your excitement. Your mind is probably on overdrive thinking of the things you can do in a lucid dream, well manifest that intent before sleep and put it in to the hard set belief that you will have a lucid dream. Large chance even that can get you some initial lucid dreams. At the same time maybe read up on the DILD technique and start trying some of it. |

SSILD, it's dummy proof, it's basically DILD but it's a very specific, simple, routine. Check out this post http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...eam-ssild.html |

There's no such thing as a saint without a past, or a sinner without a future....
Try sleeping while listening to an audiobook on a somewhat low volume. |

This. I would add that the easiest way to get started is to keep a dream journal. Think about your dreams and get excited about what lucid dreaming will feel like. With just the DJ and excitement, there's a fair chance you'll experience some spontaneous DILDs. Or at least your dream recall will improve and you will have some interesting non-LDs. When you're ready to take on more, read ETWOLD and upgrade to MILD. |

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
DILD, because you wake up in your dream and there's no sleep paralysis at all |

Lucid dreams make your dreams come true!!
DILD, though the SSILD works pretty well for beginners too, and is indeed a foolproof method. My own experiences with SSILD have been great, though for some reason it insisted on giving me teeth-related dreams. |

I have started to do WILD and I cannot believe how easy it is to do, its fantastic. |

~~~~~{Lucid Dream Goals}~~~~~
~~{Look at my hands}-{Find a light switch}-{Eat something}~~
Consistent dream journaling and regular critical questioning of reality in order to achieve DILDs are considered the basis to master the art of lucid dreaming and the starting point for every noob. By the way, DILD is a type of lucid dream, rather than a technique. A good technique for DILDs could be the one described at the opening post here. |
When you are actually tired, listen to an mp3 audiobook. Do not try to stay awake, just let the story get all blurred into the half sleep that comes before true sleep.Do this as part of a WBTB. It works like a mantra or other anchor. You may find that your still hearing the book after you are asleep, and that can make you lucid. A cartoon or tv show may also work, but avoid one that would have loud things in it like gunfire. |
|
OP, I really encourage you to give a selection of induction techniques a test to see what works for you best. Explore what you are capable of, there are so many different ways enter a lucid dream that one is bound to work for you. Test one out for a couple weeks, see how it goes, report back ! |
