You can't expect to have a LD if you can't even remember your dreams. It's the very foundation of LDing, (as is having a stable, healthy sleep schedule) if you can't remember your dreams, lucidity is extremely difficult.
Start with the basics, build decent dream recall by writing your dreams in a journal. To remember them, as soon as you wake up, lay still, keep your eyes closed and try to remember what you dreamt. Even if it's bits and pieces, write it anyway, it will help. When you remember a few dreams per night you can start worrying about various techniques.
