Before you guys crucify me, think about it. Is it really so difficult? Or do you make it difficult on yourself? I decided to make this thread to give some insight on how I view lucid dreaming. It's all a mind game really, and you're just trying to win. The prize: lucidity. How difficult you make the game is up to you. YOU adjust the difficulty level. Are you gonna make your pursuit a complicated mess and just frustrate yourself? Or are you gonna stick to the methods that work for you, and take each step in stride, each time reaching a new level or goal in your pursuit and then telling yourself "Pff, well that was easy". To me, it's 50% effort and 50% attitude, and my pursuit is coming along just fine, everything just getting easier and easier each day.

The point is, don't set any mental barriers on yourself. You can do this crap, it's easy, and don't let anyone tell you any different. Pick a technique that works for you and stick with it. Watch what will happen with just a little effort and the right attitude.

You can believe that lucid dreaming is complicated and hard, or you can believe that it's simple and easy. I believe in the latter. What about you?
