Several things - especially when you've started out on lucid dreaming - can shock your body awake. |

So I recently found my first and second lucid dream via FILD method and as I had never really done anything before in a dream. I didn't want to do much moving so very slowly I closed my hands together and rubbed them in my dream as a first thought. I had the thought of accidentally moving my real body if I attempted to move in my dream. I know the body goes into a paralysis but if I am into a dream really quick is there a chance I might move my real body? I know experience is the best way to find out but I don't want to waste one of these moments until I can have them fairly regularly. |

Are you afraid of moving your physical body while still sleeping or of moving and waking up? |
|
YES! Very possible! I do it all the time this is a way for me to feel how deep I am in my dream and a way for me to check how much time I have left. If I can not move I know I just started, If I can feel the weight of my body I know I am halfway, but if I can twitch my toes and my fingers I know my time is almost up This all happens while I am still LD/DC...You have to be super confident and know with all your might that you will NOT loose your dream and be able to quickly regain full control of your dream if you become unfocused you will loose it. |
