Thread: Your first LD

Woke up, did RC as usual, RC was positive(not as usual), got excited, woke up for real. Lasted about 5 seconds.

I had some moments of lucidity before but since they don't make a good story:
I had a FA did a RC and realized I was lucid. Did some awareness to make the dream more vivid. Then focused on my door. Opened it and found the beach. Just as I wanted to Then it faded.

I got my first LD just recently. It started as a FA where I was in my bed and I couldn't move (just like in a SP).. Tried to relax a bit then after a few secs I blacked out and found myself again in my dark bedroom but this time I was standing next to the windows... I suddenly realized I was dreaming and did a RC to be sure. Because of the excitement I woke up really fast.

In my first lucid dream I found myself on a beach. It felt a lot like this beach resort my family went to as a kid. The sky is clear, it's warm, and a gentle breeze is blowing in the palm trees. The dream was actually fairly stable. Probably the strangest thing was the way that I was sort of dropped into the world. I appeared high up and fell about 20 feet onto the sand.
There is a dream character, a man laying in a beach right beside where I have just fallen. I get up and the man asks me to help out his daughter, who has lost her hair clip. And for whatever reason, I just decide to go with it.
My sort of 'sixth sense' kicks in and tells me to check the hotel rooms in the resort. I head up away from the beach and look inside the door of the first room (It's unlocked by the way.) There is nothing inside. No furniture, nothing.
I try a second door. Again, the room is empty.
I try a third door. There is a red hair clip on the floor just inside. I pick it up and turn around. Some girl is leaning against a palm tree right behind me. I give her her hair clip back, and she begins asking if she looks alright. It turns out that the girl would later become my dream guide.

Was walking down a snowy hill somewhere in Germany, saw some pine-trees in the distance and knew I was dreaming, I got excited, walked around for a bit, then sat down in the snow.(which was quiet warm) Then my mother woke me up...

I can't remember my first one... but in one of my first ones I was walking down a field that led into a valley. I remember reaching a clearing, and just gazing out over the valley with a small town, from my vantage point. It was so incredibly real and I got such a rush from realizing "hey I'm dreaming!" that somehow I eventually forgot after a few moments, as I started heading down to the town.
