I was wondering if it's possible to do too many reality checks or do them too frequently or anything. I've been trying to lucid dream on and off for almost 2 years now, but only about maybe 2 weeks ago did I pick it back up. Because I just got back into recently, I've had to reform the habit of doing reality checks, so sometimes I'll just do them like literally every 10 seconds. However, this has made me kind of worried that I might get so used to reality checks failing (er... confirming that I'm awake?) that they'll still fail even if I am dreaming... Is this something that's possible? Is my worrying about it and considering it a possibility the only thing making it remotely dangerous?
