      Was it lucid dream?

      Hey guys!

I'm wondering if I just had my first lucid dream tonight... During a basic dream, I just did RC that worked, I pinched my nose and took a breath, but after realizing that I was dreaming ( I wasn't too exited ), I just blinked my eyes and was in my bed, wake up. I've tried to sleep again, was in the same dream again, and it lasted a bit longer, but after touching my hands and the floor, after blinking my eyes I woke up. My sleep was a far to much light, and I don't know if I was lucid or not because even knowing that I was dreaming, I still was like... misty? Maybe it could be because I was a bit drunk while going to bed?

By definition it was a lucid dream because you were aware that you were dreaming, well done!
Most of my 'lucid' experiences so far have also been rather misty apparently that improves the more you do it and there are defined levels of lucidity, you get to the higher levels as you gain experience and control.
I got lucid, so no more silly signature.

The feeling does vary from very clear to “foggy” or misty. Another tip: Try to remember, any time you think you've woken up, to do another RC and double-check. False awakenings are common, and sometimes when you believe you're awake you're actually still dreaming! That can be mean more LD time if you remember to think about it and check.

It's always great to feel progress like that! It certainly counts as a lucid dream so congrats!
