Thread: Dream Guide experiences?

Sometimes I have met guides. I don't think of them as "dream" guides, per se, but every so often I will meet someone in a dream that has something important to teach me. I appreciate them showing up. One thing I would mention: don't be caught up by appearances in dreams. The DCs we blow off because they do not look important, or attractive, often have great wisdom to share. Like life.

I met my dream guide back in 2011. She is a witch named Juliana who was under a mind control spell that caused her to attack me. Gandalf helped me remove the spell from her and I could tell there was something that made her stand out from other dream characters so I asked her to be my dream guide. I took a long hiatus from lucid dreaming and am only now getting the hang of teleporting or summoning until recently. I finally met her again and she is going to give me a magic lesson but gave me some homework to do first about energy flow simulation and meditation. I have befriended a few other witch characters too and they seem to be of some importance to my dream world. They want me to work with them to fight evil witches which sounds pretty cool!

My friend who is a natural lucid dreamer has a dream guide that he goes on adventures with. It is a talking baby. He he is sort of stuburn and rarely agrees with my friend on things but it sounds like they do some cool stuff!

Once I have spent more time learning from Juliana I want to write an article about dream guides and how to find one for youreslf. There are more people on here with dream guides than there used to be so I look forward to hearing peoples responses.

I have a dream guide named Isaac, but I don't ever remember officially meeting him. Going back through my dream journal to the first mention of him, it seems like I already knew who he was, which is strange, I tried calling Isaac, but instead of a person I got a voice inside my head. First time spawning him in he was wearing a white robe. He'll occasionally switch up his appearance as someone else, but he stills acts the same. Here is a picture I drew of Isaac when I was bored

Anyways, I spawn in Isaac if I need help with dream control or if he wants to send me on missions (The WMD mission we went on was pretty epic). All i do to spawn him in is I just shout "Isaac!" and he usually will show up, sometimes making a grand entrance (He crashed an asteroid into my neighborhood when I called him once). Honestly, Isaac has helped a lot with me practicing dream control. Usually if I have trouble doing something like shooting fireballs from my palms, I can call down Isaac and he will help me with practicing it or just grant me the ability.

Talking to him is interesting to say the least. It depends what mood he's in. He once told me to "F**K A BOAT!" in auto tune. Some things that I have asked him was "Why am I having trouble spawning people in?" and his response was "Imagine that you are calling these people on the phone, they have no idea who you are, so why should they show up?" which pretty much taught me that justification is pretty important for dream control. Whenever I try asking questions about Isaac himself, he dodges most of the questions. One question I asked him "Isaac, why did I create you?" and he responds with "You know why, so that the connection exists". Seriously though, Isaac is a mystery.

That's an interesting way of seeing it. To be honest, I do not interact very much with my dream characters, when I do they do not say much. Maybe I should ask them for advice sometime. Altough I am still interesting in meeting a DG, since they seem to be a "persistent" character. I'm doing this mainly out of curiosity to see what happens, what they are like, what kind of relationship will they have, how they will affect my dream, etc. Altough I will take your advice in consideration, next time I have a problem, I will ask someone in the dream for help.

I have a dream guide named Isaac...

It's pretty cool how you can call him whenever you need help. I also like how he makes grand entraces. I hope my DG gives me stuff to do, too. What was that mission like? I'd like to read about it!

Iv tried to summon my dream guide ( if I have one, will see ) a few times in the past. First attempt ever ended up bringing a Hot Tub Time Machine- looking engineering guy. His name was Mikko. I didn't get the vibes that he really was my dream guide however. Other three attempts that I can remember brought a student my age out of the highschoool that I went to. He kinda gave the impression that he could be my dream guide, he was always happy and it felt like he would be an awesome friend to share lucid adventures with. Though I kinda had the expectation that he would show up again when I asked for my DG to show himself, that might have effected the outcome.
