Singletasking as a first step to lucid living and then, maybe, to lucid dreaming too

One idea to entertain you folks...

      -----------///-----------------

Singletasking ( something very close to, if not the same as, mindfulness ) can be really helpful to LDing, don't you think ?

I mean, when one is doing one thing at a time, both mind and body aligned and unified, it seems everything is recalled with much more vividness and completeness.

There is also a wholesome sense of integrity and readiness, availability for the need of the moment, and a certain kind of freedom that the scateredness of our busy lives and our self referential thoughts rob us of

I think singletasking will be one of the biggest rediscoveries of our time...and that may be a good first step towards something else

And the good news is...you donīt have to set a proper time to singlestask !

You just have to cultivate that habit, but trust me, it will be boring and difficult as f*** in the beginning, but everything will become less and less boring, and more and more interesting and alive. You will become less and less desensitized.

      That should be enough

Comments and questions, i will be glad to see them

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

Mindfulness has been proven to renovate many crucial brain regions, especially those responsible for memory, self-awareness, and meta-cognition. All of these of course are vital for lucid dreaming. I agree that any one who wants to increase their lucid dreaming ability should work as much as possible at increasing mindfulness, either in daily life, or during more formal sitting meditation sessions.

On a side note. I have found that generating a strong meditative state before attempting a WILD increases the chance of success several times, as well as intensifying the over all quality of the lucid dream state.
