      3 questions on ADA and RCs

      Hey guys, there's just a few questions I have.
      1.) Should I change up my reality checks? If so, how often? I always do the same 2 (finger through palm and pinched nose breathing), and I heard that the subconscious can sorta adapt to a particular RC if done for too long.

      2.) While practicing ADA, should I examine one sense at a time, or examine them all at once? Thanks.

      3.) I can rarely recall color from dreams. Will ADA help with this? If not, what else?

      ALSO, how often should I RC? Once an hour? Once every 20 minutes? Thanks.

      1) I think different people would have different answers for this, personally I only use pinched nose breathing RC because it's impossible to adapt to that. If you're using an RC like the finger-through-palm or looking at the time, maybe it would be best to switch it up every once in a while.

      2) Personally I think you should focus on one sense at a time, and then finish up by focusing on all at once.

      3) Is this just a recall issue? Are the colors vague inside the dream? If when you are dreaming you notice vagueness in color, then ADA will certainly help. If the colors are only fading once you wake up, you should work on recall as well.

      4) Again, this will differ per person, but I RC whenever I think about it, and I have an app on my phone to give me reminders 10 times a day. You can experiment with how much is enough and how much is too much for you. And remember when you RC you shouldn't just check if you're dreaming, also think about what you would do if it turned out you were dreaming.

      I don't know if your subconscious adapts to them because a lot of the time,I just know I'm LD from things that occur,or often times my dreamscape isn't completely rendered in,or similar enough to waking life. I add reality check based off missed or reoccurring opportunities,aside from the basic ones that you mentioned. Ie:tried to turn on a light,and didn't turn on,missed opportunity,so I'll RC that. My dreams often revolve around me at a park I goto a lot,I'll RC the Park. So that it's more a habit aswell as conscious thought. But,if you aren't having issues with the ones you're using,ide say no. As for ADA,I believe it's more of a practice,where you want to work to examining as many as possible,or enough to simulate all your senses being heightened,which they would be. For RC frequency,For me,I do them whenever Something out of the norm occurs,or I remember too. I've been experimenting with a daily quota of 10,but haven't gotten any decent sleep in the last couple days,so can't say much on that.
