I get the impression there may be some misinterpretation here; when it's said that we can do "anything" in a lucid dream, it's likely only meant in the sense of what actually takes place in the dream. Whatever spiritual beliefs one might have put aside, dreams ultimately happen inside you, they don't get out or spill out from you, and they don't necessarily provide you with correct answers, be you lucid or not.
Perhaps a more useful way of thinking about the theme of your question would be this; in dreams we sometimes make mental associations that we might not usually make whilst actually awake, so in a sense, it's possible that you might get a different intuition from how you would normally perceive someone you know from waking life. In this way, it's possible you might come to understand someone else's thought patterns a bit better by dreaming about them.
