I saw the line between waking life and a dream

So, yesterday, I had one of the most trippy and coolest lucid dream experiences I've ever had that I just had to share it here.

Here's the dream journal entry of the experience (note: single letter initials are just names of people):

I seem to be in a place that, now that I think of it, sort of looks like R's basement when we went to go paintballing with W, D, G, and V. However, it's sort of looks reversed. Everything is white and I'm behind a white couch that is on my left and I'm seeing a sort of medium sized kind of white dog with a little bit of brown fur on its ears and eyes area with a watermelon on its head. And for some reason, the lower bottom left of the scene is sort of flickering black and back on. I'm finding this weird and thinking to myself, "Why is it flickering black like that?".

Now, the Dreamscape is changing, and I appear to be laying down on the left side of my bed in my room. And I'm seeing something really trippy. I'm basically seeing a split screen with two seemingly identical images (top and bottom) of exactly what I would see if my eyes were open while I'm laying down on my left side on my bed. The two images on the top and bottom are separate by a horizontal, wavy, smokey, stringy line. This is really weird to me and for a split second, I'm trying to figure out what it is. And now I realize that I'm dreaming and one of the images or scenes that I'm looking at in the split screen is waking life while the other one is a dream. So, I'm deciding that I want to choose the dream, which I believe is the top screen for some reason. So, I'm moving the smokey wavy dividing line down slowly so that the top scene is being revealed gradually and as I'm seeing it take up more space, I start feeling my waking life body as if I'm waking up and I'm realizing to myself, "Oh crap! That's Waking Life." So, I'm moving the dividing line up now so that the top scene is being covered and the bottom scene is being expanded and more revealed. Now, the dividing line is pretty much all the way at the top and I'm mostly just seeing the bottom scene and I'm realizing, "This is a dream!". I don't feel my physical body anymore and I have that feeling and knowing that I'm in a dream. The sections and clumps of fur on my sheets are really big and I'm trying to reach my arms out. Yet I'm not seeing them reach out, but I somehow am still feeling them reach out. Now, I'm getting out of bed. For whatever reason, I don't feel like I have much time before I wake up right now. So, I'm jumping high up, to the point where I reached the ceiling and I then I land on my bed. Then there's a little bit of time that passes and I wake up.

      ----------------------

I'm still grinning just thinking about how cool it is that I experienced seeing both waking life and a dream, "dipped my toe" in waking life, was able to "take my toe out" of waking life, and then fully "dive into a dream" with "goggles".

Has anyone ever had an experience like this?

      I'd love to hear it.
