How would you rate your dream awareness

      Out of 10.

What i mean is lets say in your dream you walk downstairs and George Clooney and Brad Pitt are sitting on your sofa watching t.v do you think or do just dismiss it?

It could be something obvious like that or something minor like your room looking different, odd surroundings, people acting strange, hanging out with old friends who you don't hang out with anymore etc etc.

Basically how aware are you in your dreams?

I would give me about a 3 out of 10.

I had a dream that I had the superpower to climb up poles really fast and stifle bombs between my legs. AND I DIDN'T GO LUCID! WTF!

This is the date of my first lucid: 3/6/2010
It took WAY TOO LONG - but was completely worth it.

Mine can differ between a 0.5 (Occasionally my dreams become literally "Indescribably Insane." These are rarely in 3 Dimensions.) and a 7, in which I will tend to know I am dreaming simply in the 'back of my mind.'

Some of my dreams are purely music, in which it's a bit hard to become Lucid, considering I'm not really thinking about anything beyond the sounds.

      I'd give myself a 1 out of 10.

My dream awareness sucks which is why I WILD and enter the dream consciously.

Had a dream where I managed to push a car from a penthouse suit out the window...wait a minute.... how the hell did it get up there???

lol... sometimes I get lucid, other times I have no clue I am dreaming

Anyways, lets hope we get better with practice

I think my awareness depends of many tihngs..Some days before, when I was doing like 50 rc's a day, there was a times in which I become aware I am dreaming just because the light level around me is a bit strange. But if I hadnt done anything to improve my recall/lucidity level in a while, I have dreams, which even Movie Producers wont decide to do, cuz they are too friction and still dont get lucid. So I guess most of the time 0.5-2 , and in some rare ocasions 8 .
P.S. Now when I look back, I've become lucid, cuz of really strange events only ones or twice.

About a 1, very occasionally I can move up to a 7-8, but rather than gaining control of my dreams upon realising I'm dreaming, usually I just freak out and wake up.

Yeh my awareness depends on my reality checks. If i am doing 50 or more reality checks a day my awareness is about 7 or 8 out of 10 but about 2 if i am not.

To read what I do to have a lucid, simply double click on the words "Clairity's WILD Technique" in my signature.

During a regular dream, I usually have about a 5, but I'm always on the verge of a lucid but I never break through. When I *do* enter, though I go up to a 9 or something.

AIM me if you have time!!!... I'm needy

If I have the slightest indication that I'm dreaming...I will go LD almost everytime unless I get fooled which is rare.

      8-10. I'm usually completely aware that -

      1. It's all in my head.
      2. It's a dream.
      3. And that I can control it.

Once I become lucid my awareness is great.

My awareness is very low. My DILDs have both come out of scenarios that I've recognized as dream signs and were likely to prompt me to question whether I was dreaming. Any other random, non-sensical thing in my dreams not identified as a dream sign isn't likely to get even a second glance from me.

0/10. Only (minor) DILD I've ever had was when I was wandering around school half naked and I thought to myself 'It's ok, I'm dreaming anyway' and when I did an RC to be sure my concious realised I was dreaming.

      can I say -1?

it sucks, so to say it. i'll only get lucid if something really reminds me of LDing - inconsistencies won't help that much ^^

I think that my problem is that unless the inconsistency is something that is physically impossible (say, a toaster with a human head that is chopping a wall with an axe made of ice), I am pretty open to most possibilities in my waking life.

Therefore, a lot of the dream scenarios that I encounter in normal dreams are usually such that it is feasible that I could be experiencing it in real life. Be it meeting celebrities or talking to this person or being in this situation.

1 maybe 2 at the most. One time I told myself before I fell alseep, "I will recognize when I am dreaming." What happened? I appear in my dream, it's daylight and I think I saw a sign or something about lucid dreaming and I said to myself, crap I forgot to perform a reality check last night when I was asleep and shortly after I talked to a relative about lucid dreaming. I never had a clue what was going on. Most of the dreams that I have that would turn out to be nightmares I instantly become lucid, unfortunately these are rare.

Does a zero work here? Early in the night, my dreams are little more than vivid HI. I'm usually not even in these dreams, and don't even wonder why a fish in a tutu has suddenly dominated my field of vision!

Dreams later in the night tend to have a higher awareness, as I tend to interact with and react to my environment. Although I can get out of a tight situation, or create a rationalization for an odd occurence, or even control aspects of the dream, I'm not lucid. These range from 3-5. The lucidity range is 7-10. Dreams that are 5, 6, and 7 are prone to CLS (Crappy Lucid Syndrome).
