      Lucid Dreaming & Astral Projection

So I haven't yet had a lucid dream and have been trying for a month, not that that's relevent. I was just wondering if there is a connection between astral projection and lucid dreaming, like are you on the astral plain when you lucid dream? Once you've learned one is it easier to learn the other? Any information you'd be able to share would be great! I'm new on dreamviews and I'm not sure if astral projection is common knowledge here or not so sorry if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

P.S If you don't know what astro traveling/ astral projection is I strongly suggest you look into it!

Only relation I can think between the 2 is the way you achieve them, AP is like a WILD, so I suppose practicing ones helps the other <.<

It's the same thing, with a different explanation. It's like explaining lightning either with Zeus, or a gradient of charge.

I think it's the same thing as well, only APers approach it from a different perspective. I think if offers a unique perspective on dreaming, and the techniques are certainly interesting if you consider that it is indeed a dream state. You just have to get past the the annoying tendancy APers of taking everything they see literally.
