which point of view do you dream in?

Do you dream in 1st person or 3rd person point of view and is there sound in your dreams?

I dream in 3rd person but no sounds but I can tell what people are saying...like invisible subtitles.

1st person and 3rd person, like if I'm in 3rd person, I'll try and stabilize to get back in 1st person. Usually if I get to 3rd person view the dream just goes off and I'm not as lucid anymore.

1st person 95% of the times. When I am an observer its a low quality dream.

If I want to transform into a dragon, I don't want to see a dragon in front of me, I want to BE that dragon. So I don't understand lucid dreamers who dream in 3rd perspective.

Pretty much 1st person almost all of the time. Every once in a while it will be in third person, but most of the time this happens when I am not present in the scene...kind of like if you were to watch a movie. If I am lucid though I'm pretty sure that about 99.999% of the time it is 1st person.

My non-lucid dreams are split about 50/50 first person and third person. For some reason I have never noticed the third person view as odd and used it to become lucid...

My lucid dreams have always been 1st person.

There is also this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=73293

I switch between 1st and 3rd, with 3rd being either watching myself or just watching my dream persona (the character whose role I take at any given time).

Both, 1st person generally, ocasional 3rd person, when fighting 3rd person happens a lot more, I use it for fighting purposes lol
And sound is there, just not important.

Mostly 1'st person, but I do dream in 3'rd person occasionally. I have never had a dream without sound. (Unless it was just a really quite dream location, but even then I can usually hear footsteps or something)

I'm shocked that people even dream in 3rd person. Are these people gamers by any chance?
Expect the unexpected - when it arrives ask it if you are dreaming.

I am.. but I still don't know how to use the 3rd person perspective for any lucid advantage..

I'm a gamer. I can't remember if I had 3rd person dreams before I was a gamer, I don't think I did. But really 3rd person is more useful than first...I mean what is the disadvantage of being able to see behind you as well as in front?

but its not really seeing behind or in front of you

its seeing behind and in front of a puppet

you're still a point of consciousness not physically participating in the dream, how is that fun? I still don't see the point in 3rd perspective dreaming

That isn't how it is for me. I am my own body, and feel my own body, I just happen to have eyes that see all around me instead of out the front of my head. Think of it like eyes on stalks...just the stalks don't exist.
