i would be okay with some of them, but for the most part i enjoy being nice to my dc's as i believe they are part of myself. im not a violet person any who. but anything thats not violent i would be down to do.

Fuck people who come into a dark tasks thread and complain that the tasks are too dark.

These aren't SO dark but they aren't all fluffly and boring... I vote for diversity and interesting new experience dark or not dark as long as we don't emphasis and darkness and become psycopaths.

QFT. I'm not really sure why you guys would want to harm your DCs in anyway. I mean chucking a grenade down a DC's throat, that's just sad Anyways, I don't really care if you guys wanna do the dark tasks as long as the normal tasks of the month are gonna be continuing as usual

I still say they should be official. Just have 2 sections. It's not like everyone will gravitate towards the dark tasks. There will still be tons of people who do the regular tasks. But if it's still going to be informal, I guess I'm okay with that. I just want to see my idea of dark wings come to life.

Personally, I'd like to see tasks that involve developing offensive dream powers. Some people have trouble 'defending' themselves in lucids where they're approached hostilely, and having the confidence that comes from knowing how to directly overcome that kind of conflict is tantamount to actually succeeding and pulling off the power correctly.

In one dream, for example, I was with two friends and we had been approached by three strangers who had planned primarily on killing just me. My friends' eyes glazed over, like they were dazed and helpless, so I had to act alone. I flew into the air, shielded my friends, and set the entire field below me on fire. The three strangers didn't last very long.


Here's my suggestion for a dark lucid task of the month: "Summon a large demonic entity. Command it to destroy a skyscraper."
(This practices control over another 'free willed' being and opens up the possibility
of fighting by means of creating other creatures with whatever power you wish them to have.
That in itself may be easier for some people than actually conjuring a power directly, or destroying
the sky scraper by themselves.)

hmm, I also like that planet idea. As for the summoning, why not just let them summon whoever they want, will be much easier than your suggestion of summoning a demonic entity and if LDing is infact being done in the astral plane in a bubble, then this kinda summoning could be problematic in terms of RL. Just some food for thought

Hah, the motive for a demonic creature came from what the subject line suggested: that this be a "dark" task of the month. And if it for some unknown reason you are worried about bringing forth a being from an astral netherworld and would like to be relatively cautious about things, the best advice I can offer is: Don't listen to me.

*Take on satin's role
*Relinquish your kindred folk from the world
*Take your Bf's girl/guy
*be a virus on somebody's computer and continue to spread
*dissect a frog and then eat it whole(any creature will do)
*Make DV go off the internet

I'll think of more later. Later, later, later.

Just make a thread saying 'Unofficial Dark Tasks' and Just edit the first post everytime the task changes/somebody completes it or just put a new post for every task.

The topic was made, but the tasks haven't been decided yet.

Oh yeah I see , but it is hard to find, maybe the poster or a higher member of the forums or someone should put a link there in the first post or something, I don't know I'm just throwing ideas.

I'm not sure how this would work but here goes.
