Hey I need some opinions again :P

The poll says it all. You don't have to post if you don't want to. Thing is I like having feedback on my dreams and it makes me feel better if I get like dreams off my chest but that's just my opinion and I'm asking for yours.

Both of course, if the computer one dies, the online one lives, if both die, written on lives, then again I just do the journal thing for fun and not for recall lol

I keep a paper DJ next to my bed for convenience. I like to start scribbling as soon as I wake up. I also keep an online DJ, but only post notable dreams. That reminds me, I need to update my online journal.

EDIT: Oops, I just realized I misunderstood your question. I'm an idiot. I don't keep a computer DJ, only an online journal. I do type all of my dreams in my email editor, so I have copies of all of them stored on my mail server.

I did the same thing. I feel less of an idiot knowing I'm not alone.

In answer to the OP, I think that both would be more effective. If you spend more time writing/typing/looking over your dreams, your intention to recall dreams will be set in your subconcious. This way, you are more likely to remember dreams later on.

I personally think that a written DJ is best, though, because writing takes a lot longer than typing, which gives you more time to think about the details.

Yep, I'm another one who thought you meant a paper DJ and an Online DJ...

But it seems like a good idea. You get to reflect over dreams more and if your computer has to be reformatted or something happens to it, it's still on the internet!

      Same here.

I would keep both, the more you right down your dreams, the more you're reinforcing them into your memory, even if you're only transcribing from one source to another.

I always try to write down my dreams on my computer.

My computer is right next to my bed, so I can quickly load up notepad or DV to write it down.

I used to only use notepad(<3), but now I use the DJ section on DV. Not that I've remembered any lately... :\
