How long have you been practicing?

i was just wondering how long many of you have been practicing lucid dreaming, how often you have lucid dreams, and what do you do to practice? what i mean by practicing is stuff like reality checks, dream journal, WILD, or other techniques.

for example, I have been practicing for about 10 months on and off, but ive been fully committed the last three months and i average about 5 lucid dreams a month right now. I do reality checks daily, keep a dream journal and visit dream views every day. recently ive been doing a lot of DEILD's. ive never had a successful WILD but im working on it!

I started practicing right around my join date (9th of September or so), and I seem to be averaging about one LD per two to four week period. Kinda in a dry spell at the moment, though.

Been doing a lot of mantra-ing, for sure. I spent most of today repeating one to myself, in fact.

I've been practicing for about ten years. Luckily, I was told about the basics (but only the basics, like the old look-at-your-hands RC) when I was a kid, and I was obssesive enough about wanting to fly around shooting fireballs that I actually did RCing and autosuggestion every single day for years.

Now I've gotten a little lazy and have just been relying on seeing dream signs or false awakenings...need to get myself back into shape.

lol Naiya, you forgot about not writting in your journal.

Anyway, been trying for like... 14 years in january? Around that, basically only do RCs, other than that, think about dreams while falling asleep. Yay for obssesivness!

I have been practicing for about 7 months. I keep a journal and do reality checks once and a while.
I practice WILD mainly because I find SP easy to come by.
I see my self having lucid dreams at complete will in one or two years

I have been practicing since the beggining of August. I did RC's regularly for about two weeks but it only helped a little and then I got distracted and now I only do them 1 or 2 times a day when I remember. Now I just WBTB and and MILD and that works wonders for me and I've had up to 4 lucid dreams in one week but I know I could have more if I tried harder. I have had a lot of dreams in the past were I knew I was dreaming, before I knew about lucid dreaming, but I just "went with the flow" so I am a little bit of a natural and that has helped me alot. Plus I keep a DJ.

I started attempting the lucid practice back in 2005 and I have never taken it seriously enough.

But from my basic knowledge of lucid dreaming, it has carried over into my dream mind which has caused a few random lucids (see, I don't even know the correct term)

Lucid Dreaming is like a fad or a kick for me. From time to time when I have the urge do something super natural (like to fly) I suddenly start studying and doing lucid techniques all over again.

Which is the exact reason why I am typing this now.
Crazy, but that's how it goes!

I've been practicing for about 5 or six months. Not many of my dreams are lucid, but I have at least three or four dreams a day. I keep a dream journal, but I need to to start asking myself if I'm dreaming more often

for about 4 years now, but not every day. It's been off an on for me. Lost interest, had a random Ld, regained interest (a cycle basically)
As a result I never really got too far.

Since 2005/2006 or so. I got some book about it (by LaBerge, I think?), and I started practicing and keeping a Dream Journal. I haven't exactly been the most dedicated with it all though, I still haven't had a legitimate LD.
