      Vividness of WILD vs. DILD?

      Hi all,

I just had a great WILD... nice and vivid.

However, it is not as vivid as the most vivid DILD I've had. It feels like I am in a deeper level of the dream already starting out.

I was wondering - is any one form of LD always more vivid?

Or is it just that I need to develop my imagination more when I am WILDing?

      thanks

For me i can't really tell difference in vividness when i use different methods, they all seem the same to me.

You can try either rubbing your hands or spinning to make your dream more vivid.

Funny, I hear a lot of people say the opposite, WILD being more vivid than DILD for them, I guess its different for everyone? Also, DILD > WILD for me too.

All I have are DILDs and they are pretty vivid.

My first DILD was WAY vivid. Not so much afterwards though. My WILD was somewhat vivid. The same as all the other dilds.

Most of the time they seem equal vivid, but sometimes my WILDs tend to border reality. I often find myself stabilizing my WILDs more than DILDs so that could be the biggest factor.

I've had very few WILDs, but in my experience they broke up a lot.

Perhaps, however, that had more to do with the fact that in my DILDs I more often had a specific agenda or other stabilization method. I don't remember any true WILDs I had where I had a purposeful agenda.

Lately, though, when I've been having DILDs with either no agenda but to stay aware that I'm dreaming (an attempt to make LDs a sort of "meditation" or exploration of consciousness rather than a directed adventure), or an agenda I don't have much confidence in my ability to do such as shape-shifting (which I found so frustrating recently that I decided to cultivate no-agenda lucids when I wanted to LD), they've tended to break up a lot.

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.
