Thread: How do you feel after LD'ing?

When you wake up after a Lucid Dream, do you feel tired or more awake than usual?

I just had a series of lucid's and false awakenings and I realised when I woke up that I had fallen asleep at around 6 PM and woken up at 7:30 PM. I felt like I had slept all night and it would have been the morning. But usually when I wake up I feel tired as shit and I just want to go back to sleep again.

So what happens to you?

Usually I get really excited, because I can't wait to post it here and share it, hehe

Sometimes it's 7am though, and there's no way I'm dragging myself upstairs to my computer

I feel that I must get up and right the dream I had ASAP, so that I won't forget it, or even worse, remember it as any other dream.

I predict the poll will show a unanimous "awesome"!

More awake, more aware. Good overall.

Awake, exited, energized, etc. Just like this morning when I had one. Unfortunately my first instinct is to tell my MM folks about it, and post it in my DJ over there. XD

I wake up, feel determined, awake, and disappointed. Due to horrible recall, this is the only indication that I had an LD :/

Just wanna get back to sleep to LD again! and also other: Epicly amazing.

My head feels hot and expanded like a headache without pain, I think its because my head is hollow in my dreams.

I sit there for a few minutes staring at the ceiling with a huge smirk on my face because I'm secretly very proud, and trying to imprint every second of the dream into a memory. I had one this morning that must have gone for 20 minutes or so. It didn't go the way I planned, actually ... The dream that is. Anyway, never-the-less; I was still overjoyed.

Then I can't wait to get back to sleep to LD again, but I'm usually too overexcited to sleep.

I feel very excited, aware, energetic and confident. It really is a great experience waking up knowing you have just had a Lucid Dream.

Hehe that's interesting I feel confident too when I wake after after a lucid dream. I think it's something to do with realising you are in control of yourself or something. Or that most of what you think is the world in really just in your head; your perception.

Yeah I just love that feeling. Yes it does have something to do with that. I always realize that it is all in my head and that I can do whatever I please.

I want to go to sleep again and have another one. Usually when I have a LD, it means that there's a better chance I'll have another one if I go back to sleep.

I feel awake, energetic, and exited, and I get a high that lasts for hours.

This is exactly how I feel

I get that to it usually lasts the whole day. Sometimes I do want to go back to sleep so I can have another Lucid Dream but then I don't want to forget my previous one I had. So I just get up and type it down in my Dream Journal so I don't forget it.

Emotionally happy, but physically the same as if I'd woken up any other day.

That's what I feel.

Depends how the dream went. If it was a bad one, I open my eyes and think 'I could have down better.

If it was a good LD? I feel as if I can take on the world. I feel like I can do anything. Lately I only feel truly 'rested' after either a. an extremely vivid dream or b. an LD.

Lucid dreaming is more than just fun for me. It has given my life deeper meaning.

From my experiences, I always feel incredibly alert and, well, lucid. Things are incredibly clear.

positive, alert, and results in my mood best described as a "sunny disposition".

I felt so happy and just grinned in my bed! I managed to write it down aswell god knows how!

Usually awake and excited, pumped to go and post about it in my DJ.
