      Weird Experience

So one night I went to bed trying to WILD. It didn't work because I fell asleep. A little while later I woke up, and it felt as if I was in SP. I've never experienced SP before, so I don't know if it was or not. It startled me and my heart started racing and the sensation stopped, and I could move again. Like I said, I haven't felt SP before, but it felt like what everyone says it is. It wasn't exactly like a heavyness being put on me, but it was like my whole body was vibrating.

      So my questions are..
      Was this SP?
And how do I prevent getting so excited. Whenever I WILD and something happens like that it always gets screwed up. It usually happens when I think pretty close to SP. My heart starts racing, and I start to freak out, and then it stops.

That sounds just like any SP i've ever experienced. You were close to entering full SP, but you weren't quite there. Try not to get startled, its only temporary. When you feel the vibrating just envision a dreamscape and try to jump into it.

In order to stop yourself becoming "excited" or freaking out, just try to tell yourself it's only temporary and that nothing can hurt you.

      Good luck!

I just have one thing to add. Just that SP is different for everyone-I think there are slight differences for each person. Once my eyes were jittering open and closed in SP, but that doesn't seem to happen to others often either (it just happened that one time for me).
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

I experienced this when I tried it for the very first time. I lied on my back like most people said, and didn't move a muscle. This is when I started to feel these minor waves that you might be talking about. Same thing happened to me with those small waves/vibrations. I would feel them and get excited and my heart would beat faster, then it would stop. I gave up on that and read some other stuff that said to just sleep in any comfortable position.

This is when I first felt SP. Trust me, you'll know if it's happening.

I suggest that you try to fall asleep normally how you usually do. You might end up falling a sleep for a brief moment but then wake up for a few seconds and feel SP kicking in. This is what happened with me, at least.

Yeah, it was SP, also, remember to do a RC when you are in SP/trying to WILD, that way if you are dreaming of it, you will catch it!
