I then thought about my previous dream and in about 5 seconds, I was in my lucid dream. (I did a reality check to make sure) I didn't even open my eyes, and it still felt like real life. I then got really scared, since it was my first LD, and forced myself to wake up. But after that night, I am having trouble having DEILDs. I can still wake up in the middle of the night with my eyes closed, but sometimes I move. Also, I am unable to concentrate on previous dreams for some reason. I think it's because I can't just relax and trust myself to concentrate enough, but I also think I try too hard to concentrate sometimes. Like my heart is beating and I just get really worried that I won't get a DEILD that night. I really don't know what to do, It's been many months now and I have not had any other DEILDs. How do I just relax and concentrate on my previous dreams??? Thanks.
Hi, I feel your frustration. I am a DIELD fanatic and have written extensively on the topic. I also DEILD every night using an alarm. For you the problem is staying relaxed and focused. You are getting excited when you find yourself in the zone ie: you have woken up naturally and can now DEILD but your heart beats too fast or you move.

You would very much benefit from doing a daily meditation for 20 minutes. The reason for this is that when you awake at night and start to DEILD, you are effectively meditation back into the dream

Also, you dont need to remember the last dream at all, simply stare at the back of your eyelids and lightly repeat 'i am dreaming' and you will still enter into a lucid dream. Dont be scared at any point - theres no danger

I will also be BETA TESTING the new Aurora as iWinks have told me i make an idea candidate for a UK beta tester. Ive a strong feeling that the Aurora will be a game changer for people who DEILD, removing all need for natural awakenings or WBTB's
