Remember meditation is generally a long, slow road that requires time and discipline. However, there are short cuts but they are not recommended for beginners. You are always progressing when you are meditating; you just are not consciously aware of it. Once in a while you will experience an epiphany, a spiritual experience that will help to bolster future efforts. |

my friend, today i saw a flash of white light for 1 second , while meditating in a super dark room << it looks like this flash came when i focused |

Your trying too hard, its about relaxing and being effortless..also sounds like your focusing outward instead of inward |

Sit in a room by yourself quietly. Just sit there, no t.v. on or anything..no distractions. |

Attempt to progress in meditation sounds like you've missed the point. Attempting to progress causes one to focus on lack, which creates resentment and disappointment. Like any other practice, you must let go of results and enjoy the practice for itself. I wouldn't be able to touch the guitar if every time I did all I was able to hear when I played was the difference between me and Jimi Hendrix. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

Progress? What is progress? But the illusion of time manifesting in one's actions? And if it is, there is only two things it requires patience and persistence. |

A lot of times, what happens when we try to open chakras up, is something that can be compared when a person tries to lose weight. That person has a great success for a time, then reaches a plateau thats extremely hard to get past before the success can continue. It's the body saying "Enough is enough, let me catch up with your intention." Yes, that means its a fear-based wall that comes up, but its for a reason. It's to protect you. The more open your third eye is, the more aware you are of spiritual activity. |
