      Appe96's Workbook

      Dreamsigns: I've noticed some reaccuring things in my dreams, but it is to early to call it a dreamsign. I will mention them anyway

      Unplugged earphones. In a few dreams of mine, i have noticed that everyone is staring at me. I look down at my ipod and notice that my earphones are not plugged in

      School. I usually dream about school, or things related to school. It can be everything from seeing my classmates, to doing homework.

      Games. I usually play games all night so to speak. A few nights ago I dreamed that I pwned some noobs in Hearts of iron, while I was playing as Ireland.

      Reality checks:

      Plugg my nose
      Watch the clock
      Question how I got here
      Watch my hands
      Watch my surroundings
      Ask myself where I am.

      I usually do about 10 RC's per day.

      Short term goals:

      []Get better dream recall. I usually just remember 1-2 dreams per night. I want to remember 3-4 dreams per night.

      []Get my first lucid since my break. I took a break last fall from lucid dreaming. I want to get a lucid dream, in a few days/weeks

      []Eat or drink something in a lucid dream. I remember that I have seen some strange food in my dreams. One time I dreamed that I saw a "HD Cola". I soo wanna try that

      []Get a WILD. I have never managed to get into SP. I really gotta try to get a SP in the near future.

      []Stabilize my dream before I go on my "lucid adventure"! I usually start to think that I haven't much time, so I just panic and fly away

      Long term goals:

      []Meet my DG once again. I've met my DG in a lucid before, according to my DJ. I can just barely remember it tho. I really want to meet her again!

      []Start some kind of lucid adventure. I want to start some sort of adventure that I can do in my lucids. Every lucids would be it's own chapter

      Technique:

      I usually go for some sort of a mix between DILD and WBTB.

      I hope this is ok for a workbook, because I didn't find any sort of a template, so I tried to look at what everyone else did

      Ooh BTW! Will every chat session be at 8PM CST, because I wont be able to attend to the chat. It's 3AM in Sweden when the chat will be hosted. What happens if I can't be on the chat?

      Hey Appe96. Not every session will be at 8pm, no. One of Tuesday's chats will be at 12pm CST, which would be 7pm for you. If that's not convenient, feel free to state some convenient times for you. We can be a little flexible with chat times. Your template is just fine! All we really want is to get to know a little about your dreaming life. Very good post!

      Two of my main dream signs are school and games too. So how do you plan on increasing your dream recall? Mantras, paying more attention to your dreams when you wake up, lucid aids, different sleep schedule?

      In regards to your WILD goal, not everyone experiences SP when WILDing. Everyone's experiences are different!

      You're up that early in the morning? o.O Isn't that 6:30am for you? I'll chat with Rarecola and Ophelia and see if we can schedule a chat at that time later this week. Do you have a second time range that could be good for you?

      Yes that's 6:30AM but I have 15 km to school . Any time between 11AM to 3PM CST would also be a good chat time for me. But someone else might be at work at that time :S

      June 5th


      Tonight when my alarmclock went of, I became completely confused and didn't knew what was going on. After like 5 mins I turned it of and went back to sleep.

      Better luck next time I guess

      Dreams:

      I just slightly remember a dream from tonight.

      I was this girl who was a inhabitant on a Island. I think it was Australia, but I didn't look like it, and it was to small. I was in a chair around a table, were the leaders of the island had a meeting.

      I don't know why but I get this feeling that they were dictators or something.

      Anyways! They speak about America. Aperently the Americans are demanding that they start some sort of infrastructur on the island. They discussed what they would gain from that, and if it was possible.

      I suddenly remember that my "boyfriend"( No I don't have a BF IRL, and will never have one ) is cheating on me I ran to the beach, and saw him making out with someone.

      First I got furious, but then I thought that the had to do what was the best for him. I picked up a bottle of paint and filled it with ocean water, and ran up to the castle(where the dictators were having a meeting.). I gave one of them the bottle, and they told me that I was a good servant.

      I went back to the beach and took a swim. Suddenly I hear that people are screaming, and I feel this HUGE wave sweeping over me. I thought to myself that this is it. We have been strucked by a tsunami.

      I wake up.

      Was the alarm clock for your WBTB? I find the confusion thing pretty common, and if you do end up not going back to sleep you pretty often forget your dreams anyway because of the shock of waking. It may be beneficial for you to try WBTBs without alarms, there are plenty of other methods you can do such as mantras and even just drinking a load of water before bed.

      The drinking water method was great! I woke up about 5 hours after I fell asleep. My dream recall were horrible tho. I can't remember a thing! I'll start doing auto suggestion before bed... :/

      Good job on the waking up at 5am the natural way! Definitely keep at it, and your recall will improve. Otherwise maybe aim for a slightly later time to wake up.

      The key thing to remember with anything related to dreaming is consistency, keep at it and don't lose motivation because then you'll just be taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Remind yourself than any small step is progress toward your goal, and that soon enough you will have taken enough steps to reach it

      I remeber just a small fragment from tonight. I guess that is a step forward ^^.

      I will try WILD combined with DILD, and autosuggestion. This is because, one of my goals is to have a WILD.

      ooh BTW, I just found two new dream signs!

      Dream signs

      Family members. I've noticed through out my dreams that people that, look like a familymember or is a familymember is very often in my dreams.

      Action/violence/war. I have also noticed that alot of my dreams has any of these factors in them. Like my hearts of iron dream, my World in conflict dream, my real life game dream, my battlefield commedy dream, and the dream about me being a girl.(I would consider the tsunami as a action dream sign).

      I didn't get much sleep last night so I don't have any dreams to report. I was trying to perform a WILD, but I didn't wake up. Maybe I didn't even have a REM sleep.

      Try to get a good night sleep. No sleep = no dreams = no lucids. The good news, is you've had lucid dreams before, which means you WILL have them again. Don't ever forget that.

      YAAAAAY! I got a lucid dream today! . Unfortunaly I woke up right after realizing but I did it!

      Dreams:

      Dream 1: I was walking down the street. A man walked up to me and said: Do you see those two dudes guarding the store? He pointed at two hispanic dudes that stood right outside the door. I said: Yes! Why do you ask? He said: there's some space between them. That is their blindspot. If you go through that blindspot. They will not be able to see you. So can you do me a favor and rob that store? I said: NO! I'm outta here!

      I ran away from the dude, and after while of running I took a break. I decided that I would turn back for some reason. When I got back, I noticed how the place had changed and thought: Hmm something is not right here. I met my sister who told me that this is the place I came from, but I didn't trust here.

      I looked at my hands. Nothing strange. I looked at my clock. Nothing weird. I coverd my nose. I could breath! I was like: FUCK YEAH! This is a dream!

      I woke up

      Dream 2: I was playing europa universallis 3, but it was with a twist. Our soldiers were monkeys. After a loong battle, I finally defeated the "evil" empire of Norway.

      I woke up. This is not a dream though. It wasn't a FA. It was some sort of SP. It's hard to explain, I didn't feel the heavy lead blanket sensation! I couldn't move but still no heavy blanket. I know this wasn't a FA I know this was reallity. I saw a monkey climbing across the roof. It suddenly looked at me and started to aproach me. It wasn't this gentle aproach. This was a agressive monkey, and it wanted to kill me. I tried to scream but nothing. When it finally reached me, it dissapeard. I was out of SP and just screamed!

      Can you have a sp without the heavy blanket feeling? :S

      Congrats on your lucid, Appe96! Unfortunate that it was short, but the next time you have a lucid, I'm sure you'll have the time to stabilize.

      SP can be different from person to person. How could it be reality if you saw stuff that wasn't real? Even if you have SP, that likely means that you're sleeping, but you're not in REM sleep. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but it does sound like a FA to me. A FA where you had SP.

      I meant the sp was real Of course everything else that I saw wasn't. I know the sp was real because after that I wrote down my two dreams, and fell asleep. I checked my DJ when I woke up again, and there they was!

      Awesome Appe!!! Well done! Sorry I missed your post about it, been a rough work weekend. But yeah, well done, you did several reality checks instead of giving up on the first one. Proud of you man. You'll stay in the LD longer and longer each time, when you get used to the sudden excitement of having just attained lucidity.

      About the SP, Caenis is right, it's different from person to person. (whoops, lunch break is about over. I'll edit and add more thoughts after work)

      Hmm I rememberd 1 dream from tonight. I was to lazy to write it down tho, I don't rember it now :/ It was something about maffia. Let's see if I remember it when I come home from school!

      I didn't try WBTB today because I went to sleep so late.

      Dreams

      I just remember one dream tonight: I was a singer in eurovision songcontest. (Only the europeans has a clue what I am talking about now ) Before we performed our song on stage, we had to to some sort of challenge in our house. If we succeded then we could be a part of eurovision. If we failed, well shame on you

      I completed the challenge, and I woke up
