Thread: Intro Class Daily Dream Snippets

I'm in a shared dream simulation designed to induce lucidity. You run and jump across an an environment of buildings, warp portals, cannons and other goodies. Other students are running up ahead of me, and at one point I see Xanous shoot a huge hole in a wall with a Howitzer-style cannon then disappear through it. My dream view has a heads-up display with meters for my "lucidity" and "dream depth". Text scrolls by constantly on the bottom of my view to update me on what's happening in my brain: "Dorsolateral prefrontal cortical activation at 45%" or "id retracting". Throughout the sim, I make comments to a computerized female voice called "Ophelia" about why I'm not yet able to achieve lucidity.

In my nonlucid last night, Brian, our asst. bakery manager, and I were trifling over which oven I was going to use to bake my fish lunch, and which oven he would use to make the baguettes. I also remember something about a barrel in an apartment???

My wife and I are at he airport. We are being violated by the TSA. I am angry and depressed. One of them tells me that I just need to calm down and relax. They have us strapped to a seat and some probe is in our butt and and a needle in our arms. I dont know what the probe is for but they are forcing us to donate blood.

Then the evil TSA guy takes a seat next to me and straps in. We are actually in-flight and the captain announces turbulence. I think nothing of it at first but then it gets extreme. I hear some guys laughing and having fun behind me but I begin to get scared as the turbulence gets worse.

I look out a window and notice we are dropping altitude. The plane goes into a tail spin and the laughing turns into screams.

I struggle in my restaints to reach my wife in the seat infront of me. I am barely able to hold her hand. I wish I could do more to confort her.

I dont want to die like this and I dont want to die this young. I am so afraid. I pray to God and hope I liked a good enough life. I feel my seat break lose and I pull my wifes hand. She spins around behind me.

As we die together the worl fades to white. In a flash of a second I remember how the Buddhist use lucid dream as practice for death. I want to enter death self aware.

Now I am in a world of white. I say, "Wake up." Meaning wake up to death and the afterlife. Instead I wake up to this physical plain and very slowly and cautiously I realize that it was all a dream. I did a nose plug to be sure.

I found myself taking a dump at work in the middle of the main hallway. The plant manager decides to call a stand up meeting right near me. The toilet is situated really close but I am partially hidden by the big yellow chemical cabinet. I hurry and finish my business and no one seems to notice me. I feel really embarrassed but at that point I realize I am dreaming. I didn't take control because the situation was too awkward and I just felt really tired mentally. It was when I flushed that everyone looks right at me. They all "EEWWW" and groan in disgust. My co-worker F (Funny guy IRL) comes over and says, "Did you really just take a shit right here in front of everyone?"
Still lucid I just roll with it. Smile real big and say, "Yep I sure did." I point to the toilet and we both watch my nastiness swirl around. He laughs and I wake up soon after.

I was doing something really weird and clumsy on a pogo stick. I don't remember all of the dream, but I remember falling off the damn thing just before waking up. It kinda made me want a pogo stick for real.

Good night for dreams last night;

First dream I was at the Olympics in the future, it was being held in Korea. For some reason while at the Olympics I decided to attend a Korean school with a few friends and we were baffled how strict the whole place was. The first class we had was all about dentistry and the teacher was demonstrating how to pull teeth using her own mouth, which afterwards she used to demonstrate surgically planting the teeth back into her mouth. The break for lunch came and whilst eating all of the foreign students got a display from the school's ninja team. They were climbing up and around the inner buildings, throwing kunai and shuriken to each other whilst somehow magically clinging onto the side of walls.

Second dream I was at home and family were visiting. They had left something in their car but the doors on our house had locked themselves and everyone was trapped inside. I climbed out of the window to fetch whatever they left in the car but they then questioned how I was going to get back inside. I thought to myself "I can just fly back up!", which I proceeded to do, before realising it was a dream and became lucid. From here, for some reason, I thought it'd be a great idea to just blow things up, I started sticking my hands out and making gestures towards family and inanimate objects, causing them to spontaneously combust before I fell back into non-lucidity.

That's so cool that you had a Korea-themed dream last night, RC -- so did I! This was mine:

I'm in a narrow alleyway with signs that look like they're in Korean. The roof of one building is oddly low and there's nobody around, so I decide to have some fun and scramble onto it. I run along the top of this roof and hop easily to the roof of the next building. I think how this is way easier than I'd ever imagined. I wonder why I had this as a dream goal when it is so easy to do "in waking life". One dream character watching from the street below accuses me of being "racist" for thinking that this is what Koreans do with their free time. I shout down that "I totally don't think that! I've always wanted to do this!" Some more rooftop jumping ensued after that, but I can't remember where the dream plot went from here.

Definitely non-lucid, but I think that I was close to crossing over.

I am at my old childhood home in Texas standing in the back yard. I complain to my brother how I didn't do a proper WBTB and now I keep missing chances to be lucid. His reply, "Sometimes it's good for the body and mind to just rest."

I start to agree with him but then I feel a strange expression on my face and I say, "Meh... I just like the adventure and exploration of it all. I mean, look at this puddle of water. I could just jump into it and open a whole new world to explore." I step into the puddle. I just stand there for a moment with clear blue water up to my ankles. "Well I guess you are right. I can't even feel wet."

The dream continues non-lucid.

My first dream I recalled in a couple of weeks.

I am in the Animus Core running a moving obstacle course. There are other people there running with me. We all jump into the sky and land on a floating ledge, to afraid to jump I see a floating girl and jump onto her instead. We both fall into a giant white pillow surrounded by military choppers. I wake up at this point.

I had a DILD and my son was in it. And in this lucid, I was completely convinced that we were both having a shared lucid. I taught him how to stabilize by looking at his hands. Sadly I woke up before getting ready to teach him how to fly. Oh man that would have been so awesome.

I was a NASA engineer working on a satellite. My wife and I stowed away on the rocket that took the satellite to the planet Mercury. I ended up landing on planets surface. It looked just like Mars but was yellow like sulfur. I was on my hands and knees studying the rock when I decided to leave. Instead of flying I just pushed away and allowed the space around me to distort. I watched Mercury shrink into a tiny planet. Soon, I realized I was in orbit and looked around and found my satellite. I noticed how it was yellow as well. Then, I climbed up inside and showed my wife this long tube thing. (no joke intended) I told her that was the part that I had developed.(still not joking) At that point I realized I was in the vacuum of space and wondered how I could breath. I told myself that I can always breath in space and all was fine. I flew/swam back to earth. I arrived almost instantly and at that point I realized another problem that I could not think around. I was afraid of burning up on re-entry so I decided to land on an Earth satellite. There was a TV and a couch. I took a seat and called NASA with the TV. They said they would send a someone up to get me. I told them that was just going to chill and watch some TV while I waited. The man in the TV asked, "How in the world are you going to do that?" I said, "Duh! I'm on a satellite!"

A lot can be learned from non-lucid dream control.

I attempted DEILD when my wife's alarm went off this morning. I almost had it but fell into a FA. I thought my wife was in the shower but when I rolled over I saw her in bed. It turned into a sex dream. I started wondering who the other person was and how can she be here and there at the same time. I became lucid and the scene went black. I chose to give up my lucidity in order to finish the dream.

Lucid fragment: I'm standing at the edge of the roof of a building. A DC behind me and to my left says, "Hurry! Teleport back here to where I am. Show me that you can do it." I concentrate on viewing the scene from his perspective. There's a weird throb of color and then I find myself standing next to him. "Nice," he says, and the dream ends.

Had a dream where sheep were chasing me. I was so scared that I ran like hell on water.

The world had been overtaken by reptillian aquatic fish-people when the zombie apocalypse wiped out most of the human race. I was one of the last humans left but the fish-people granted me special powers, allowing me to teleport short distances. The fish people had developed a way to cure the world's zombies after many years of fighting them off and they recruited me to help them. We ran around chanting something in their native tongue while waving our arms around frantically. The zombies surrounding else started falling over in unison, some of them dying, some being turned back into humans and others being turned into even worse creatures who were immune to this "cure". The fish-people started going insane and were swimming at high speeds around the canals of Venice (where the world was now ruled from) for no reason at all. I woke up as the fish-people cast me and the few other humans out of society, blaming the failure of the cure on us.

I had decided to join Royal Rangers again as a leader. I guess I have some false awakening and I open my bathroom door. I see a play ground with monkey bars. Some man is explaining things to me. I crank out some chin ups and part of me realizes there is no way I am that good. It get harder. I do an obstacle course. Someone comments how fast I am. I told them I don't know what I am even doing. I think I skipped some things. I wait around for the instructors to get us organized.

I look to the left and see some Buddhist monks in the grassy area of the park. They are laying out mats and appear to be starting a meditation class. I see the monks in typical garb but the colors are pastel blue pink purples. The guy that talked to me earlier pointed and said Buddhists. I said how do they expect to meditate with all the noise we are going to be making?

Then I see a cloud form behind the monks. I want them to have privacy so I will the cloud to envelope them. The concentration sent me back through the door into my bedroom. I find a bunch of women having some cosmetology class. There is a mess on the floor and I spen considerable amount of time cleaning it up. Then I wonder around and I begin to miss my wife. I realize I am surrounded by beautiful women but none compare to my wife. I get really depressed and start eating.

I had a dream that we were all trying to help oreoboy come up with a new DV name. Some contenders were "CookieBoy1996," "PenguinBoy1996," "MeatBoy1996" I believe. hehe.

I dreamt that I was watching a video about children having super powers. At the end of the video was this.

He was wearing a faded green shirt and faded blue jeans. He had symbols that covered all of his body and clothes. One symbol stood out from the rest. It was on the side of his face and it was slightly glowing green. It looked like this.

He had lots of different symbols on him. He tried to do a Kamehameha wave from dragon ball Z and a few other moves I didn't recognise. While doing all this he was talking about the world ending. He then suddenly stopped and looked directly into the camera. It felt like he was then talking to me directly. He then said “Hey you. Trust me”.

My alarm the went off just as he said that and I woke up.

Really cool WILD experience

I was lying on my right side, and felt the urge to roll over. I did partially, then decided to keep in the same position and try for a WILD. I did this indescribable thing that I always do to concentrate the vibrations once they start. But they hadn't started yet, I just kinda mentally went "fishing" for them, if that makes any sense. They came, but the first round was really weak. I tried again, and they flooded over me just like they normally do. Then I decided that in those few seconds, where I normally wait to "open my dream eyes" and start out the LD in my room, I tried to imagine another place. ANY other place. And I waited for it to form on my eyelids, and skip the whole "open eyes" thing, because I believe that's just a schema I created for myself, unintentionally. I saw some bright sunlight and a sparkly blue sky appear, and a window. A huge window, like the whole wall was window. With a little cushion seat. I was still lying on a bed in the same position though lol. But it was most definitely not my room, and I didn't recognize anything outside of the window. I got up slowly, and things were so vivid. I could hear the sound of me moving in the bed, moving the blankets, my skin scraping across the sheets. I wondered if I was hearing residual sounds of my real body moving around in the bed irl. So I proceeded slowly. I got to the window and looked outside: it was a sparkly day, with snow melting away from buildings and trees that were not familiar. Christmas lights hung loosely from some of the trees and bushes. I pressed my head to the window and moved through it. When I got outside, things changed It got darker (ffuu), but I just plodded along down the block. I walked past that SAME pool, which made me mad for some reason. "Really?!" I didn't want to revisit it. Those carvings still looked icky to me. I wish I had thought of the basic ski task though, since at least that water was shallow and I had already been in it. Oh well. I couldn't really think of much to do, and I was getting a bit randy anyway. I found a clothing shop with some women inside, so I went in...

New Found Control over WILDing - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

I am in a WILD attempt. A Indian man appears before me. He looks similar to a young Buddah. I ask him, "Are you the Buddah?"
His reply is, "No, but I am here to help you. Take my hand."
I fell awkward holding a mans hand but I do it anyway. I look down and see my hand grasp his. I feel odd because I still feel my physical body. The man turns into a brilliant being of light. he says something I can't remember. I try to merge with his energy but I become excited and the dream fades away.

Had an X-Men type dream. I think my power was regeneration and some kind of super agility. I was running and doing parkour-looking actions up a staircase, pursuing some monster. I caught up to it, it turned around and pushed me down the railing, so I fell about 30 storeys. Right before I hit the ground, I closed my eyes. It didn't hurt at all, though I felt a huge thump. When I reopened my eyes, I could see my broken bones and bleeding scrapes healing really quickly.
